Ya it’s not normal to see that level of increase without something else going on. I don’t want to highjack this thread but it’s something amongst other data points to watch. We are also close to hitting the sahm rule. If unemployment hits 4.2 in the next jobs report, the sahm rule would be in. It’s not a perfect indicator but it’s been nearly flawless.
Maybe no one can define conservativism because it isnt an ideology, its a series of irritable mental gestures as Trilling said.
