You know all those primaries you had?

They didn’t matter. The Democrat Party is about to pick your candidate, regardless of who you voted for. Your vote is irrelevant.

But please, do continue to tell us how you are the defenders of “democracy”.

79% of Democrats in a recent poll said they preferred a different candidate to Biden.

One would think with all the experience you’ve amassed starting new threads, you’d have at least accidentally gotten better at it, by now.

If Biden gives his delegates to Harris, because Biden dropped out, then how is this anti democracy? People voted for Biden. He's no longer running. Biden supports Harris, who now has all Biden's delegates.

Why do you think primaries are "democratic" (small d)? They are fundamentally exclusionary as people generally can't vote for party's nominees. I'd argue that the primary system is one of the worst things to happen to this country. I can think of one really good decisions made by primaries that would not have been made by party elders: Obama. Every other difference between elders and voters has shown that the elders were likely right in the end.

BTW, the party is called the "Democratic Party." Just so that you know.

LOL. Good thing we voted for Biden AND Harris knowing that if he chose to step down, she'd be his replacement. I'm so very amused that MAGAs want to concern troll about democracy. Don't you have a Capitol to storm and a Trump VP to hang?

Biden chose to resign. He want voted out at the convention. He wasn’t forced out and didn’t have to stay in the election. And after the election fraud lies, attempt to submit fake electors, and sending the Proud boys to the capital to fight for their country in January 6, don’t lecture Democrats on democracy. Was it anti-democratic when Johnson withdrew and RFK was killed that so many people voted for them in primaries and they didn’t run? Good luck beating Harris with your convicted felon who brags about ending abortion rights. Who brags about having immunity from the crimes he committed. Who argues that having top secret documents in a ballroom is a fake case. Really, shame on you for picking a candidate like that. Shame shame shame. Oh- and Harris was on the ticket

I voted for both Biden and Harris in 2020 and it sounds like she will be the pick, so no, this doesn’t change anything. Lol.

Keep it coming, bud - your tears are delicious.

And we'll grant you more credibility than NONE AT ALL just as soon as you condemn Trump's criminal conspiracy to overturn an election.

Remember all those cops getting beaten while they attacked the Capitol and Trump stood and watched? As far as we can tell, you have no problem with that. How traitoriously un-American is THAT?

Not only that, but people who voted for Biden were also voting for Harris as their potential president if Biden can't complete his term... it's not like Biden dropped out and they are shoving Newsom in his place ...

While I understand your sentiment. This is not much different than what they did to Bernie in 16 and 20.

Did Donald Trump have top secret classified documents in the ball room at Mar A Lago that he moved in order to avoid giving them back? Did Donald Trump participate in a scheme to submit fake electors to Congress? Did he tell Mike Pence to refuse to certify the 2020 electoral vote? Did Donald Trump at a rally on January 6 and tell a mob of people the election was stolen and to March to the Congress to take their country back? And all you can say is “Derp derp derp.”

Not correct. Bernie Sanders lost enough delegates in the primaries to lose the nominations. And Biden quit— it was always his choice.

It was Biden’s choice, but not his desire. Regardless, he did choose after Tom Hagen came to talk to him.

Interesting that you said that Bernie “lost enough delegates” with out mentioning that he had won many and had good shots in the remaining primaries. The party intervened and got all but one other candidate to drop and give their delegates to Hillary and Biden.

Personally, I don’t think Bernie would have been any worse than Biden. He was at least honest about who and what he was. If party leadership thought Bernie could win in the general election, he would have been the nominee in both elections.

How is this different from the "Party" rejecting Reagan's vice presidential choices and telling him that he either accepted corrupt old Bush or he would never receive all of the delegates he had earned?

Stunning how bad the memories continue to be for all you Maga-ts.

That’s not accurate. Hilary Clinton and Joe Biden each won sufficient delegates in the primaries that Sanders had no path at the convention. And only some Dems asked Biden to withdraw. Clyburn was I’m a Sunday show endorsing him. And let’s be clear: Biden’s debate performance made it clear that his mental cognition is in decline. His press conferences and interviews were better in recent weeks, but he was clearly out of it during part of that debate. Which Republicans clearly called attention to. So, Biden made a decision that was in the best interests of the country. Republicans don’t get to say Biden is incompetent and unfit for office, by that his withdrawal is anti-democratic.
