I’m not sure you can assign a number of wins as a must to his prospective tenure. What if he goes 6-7 and all or almost all of those losses are to playoff teams? With our schedule that is within the realm of possibility. And what if those losses are close and highly competitive? I just think saying he has to win a certain amount of games is not a fair or reasonable gauge of how much we improve this year. So many different possible scenarios. I will say if we win 9 regular season games this year we will have a top 10 recruiting class.
If we win 8 games, I have to believe we pull in a top 10 class, if not top 5 class. I think we’ll know by End of Contract, if he’s the answer. It’ll probably take a trip to the SECCG, for the extension. I for one, hope it happens. Recruits just want to see us win. Most are observing for now.
Seems that a lot of good players have committed elsewhere. Will be difficult to flip so many. Not sure how it plays out. The more wins, the better I would think.
Beck and AR was in the same recruiting class and when Beck is a NFL rookie, AR will be in his 3rd year in the NFL. wild
I would say the writing is on the wall if we only win 6. Nope, doesn't mean Admin makes a change. But win 6 only and the recruiting classes Napier needs to be successful will come up short. Hoping for 7 then a bowl win. But even that might not be enough to get players who are on the fence to wait until after our bowl game to sign. Believe ESD is early December.
Love it. No respect. The coach and the players are in this together. Post this in the locker room and go out every Saturday to prove them wrong. Go Gators
you dont see it? I could see it. Sanders, Aller (all potential to me atm), and Ewers. I could see em as a 1sr rounder
I honestly don't. I think he's got an NFL line protecting him and had one of the all time best college TE that bails him out of bad situations. We will see this year if their coach will have him make difficult throws. I'm sure he will still have good protection but without a great TE.
