University of Florida President Ben Sasse Announces Resignation

Saw that he's dealing with some family issues.

 

We had 13 presidents appointed in the month of November 2022? Seems like a lot…

 

That's more than 3 times the number of football coaches we've had in the last 13 years.

 

Just hope we don't hire anyone with UGA ties. One (Muschamp) was enough.

i'm a huge Ben Sasse fan from many years before he took the UF job. I read his book "Them" in 2019 and it changed the way I think.
He's an amazing man, so this makes me sad. But I def understand.
Family comes first.

Bummer about Sasse. I really liked him, and thought he was a great ambassador for UF. Sad to hear about his wife.

It’s sad that the family issue is serious enough to cause a resignation. Prayers to his family.

 

I hate that for the Sasse family and for the University of Florida. Best wishes to him and his family during this time.

 

I must have accidentally touched the screen as I was reading. (It amazes me how some people take message board things so seriously. So.. it was not intentional..
