Honestly with FSU they have no clue or desire to even consider this opinion. Totally self absorbed, entitled and clueless.
As long as the Vandys are the ones from last year we pounded and not the Vandys who spent 4 quarters handing AR and our team their asses most of the game...and in the end they stuck a protractor in our eye on the way out.
So will every Cane fan (about 3,000). Most are going to be greasy slimy nasty smelling mouth breathers belching off a smell of B.O. that will only ripen in that 120 degree heat index day in the Swamp. Bet you pull up before the end either looking for air condition or fumigation. Youre a warrior but everyone has their limits.
FSU backers should read this and what the BIG commissioner had to say and take the L and cut their losses now. Its becoming ever more clear that their two choices outside of the ACC will be the BIG 12 or Independent and neither of those are going to get them any more $$ than they are currently receiving.
I think it would take another conference realignment for the ACC to implode and right now the tea leaves aren't strong in that direction. FSU looks like the only program dumb enough to think they have some cachet to a major conference. I think that Clemson will back off pretty quickly if they don't think they can land in the big leagues and I think the rest of the ACC, although not perfectly satisfied, is content enough not to implode the ACC if just FSU leaves. I wonder if ESPN would even re-negotiate the contract....they have a pretty good deal with the ACC even without FSU. Of course, as all the pundits have said, ND is the wildcard that could cause immediate changes to the conference landscape. As long as their minor sports have a conference to play in though, I don't know why they would make a change since their deal is already as good as the Big 2 conferences receive.
