What would you like as evidence? The racial housing discrimination suits (plural) that he settled with the federal government (including the report from one of his executives that he told the attorneys prosecuting the case that they wouldn't want to live with "them" either), the multiple employees of his who have reported him saying racist things regularly (including about how he doesn't like black people handling his money, only Jewish people), the fact that he is still defending and calling for the execution of the Central Park 5, the fact that he claimed a judge was biased against him because he was "Mexican," the fact that he told multiple people born in the US to go back to where they came from (but only minority US citizens), the fact that he often referred to minority areas as having high crime, even when they don't, or literally dozens of other examples. Which would you prefer to see as proof?

 

Identifying a place of origin is not in and of itself racism.

And point us to why mentioning a crooked judge that happens to be Mexican is racist?

 

Trump is literally trying to set up hostilities between blacks and Hispanic immigrants.

He wasn’t “Mexican”, for starters. He came from Colombia at the age of 6. Might help your “not a racist” if you got the damned country right.

It was racist attack because Trump said “look at where he’s from”. As if that has anything to do with the law. “Look at where he is from” is not an argument of legal merit, it is a personal attack on the judges nationality.

An interesting aside, your favorite judge (Aileen Cannon) is also an immigrant from Colombia.

 

A. He didn't claim that the judge was crooked.

B. He claimed that he was biased and his evidence was that he was "Mexican." That judge was born in the US, so he didn't mean that he was born in the country of Mexico.

The claim that somebody is unable to perform their job (the job of a judge is to impartially interpret the law) because he is of Hispanic descent fits the first definition.

 

The judge is an immigrant from Columbia who arrived in this country at 6 years old. I assume he must now have full citizenship (I doubt even a permanent resident could sit the bench?).

If Trump called him “Mexican” that just makes that all even more blatant.

 

This was the Trump University case. The judge's parents were Mexican immigrants. The judge was born in Indiana, I believe. Trump stated that he was biased against him because he was Mexican.
