So the current military and national security officers that work with Biden say he is sharp as a tack when discussing important concerns.

40 members of Trump's prior administration say he is a moron who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near his old job.

    Consider your question answered.

Literally no one actually believes Biden is sharp as a tack anymore. Keep fighting the good fight if it makes you feel better though.

Believe your eyes, not what other people tell you. Anyone with a brain and is unbiased saw what Biden is. It has nothing to do with Trump either. Just be honest with yourself. It's really not that hard. Anyone saying Biden is sharp as a tack after seeing his last few speeches and the debate is absolutely biased or delusional. Consider which one you are.

Don't bother. Some people are too far gone. It's crazy that people will literally lie to themselves to rationalize it. Now trump people do it also. I can't believe we are stuck with these two clowns as our options.

Nothing about either candidate being POTUS tells us things are moving in the right direction.

Yes, Biden is showing his age. I would not say he's "sharp as a tack". And, I would prefer that he step aside for a younger candidate.

But, even at his age, I think he is far more knowlegable, would think more strategically, and would make better decisions FOR THIS COUNTRY than Trump ever would.

Fair enough. Both sides are taking a leap of faith this election year. Trump has way more baggage but Biden looks weak to the world, regardless of what he can do in best case scenario given his cognitive decline. I think both sides really need to see that other than a few hot button issues, we all want the same thing in life. It would be nice if we just cut the rhetoric and all move to the center to actually get stuff done. Unfortunately that means a lot of far left-right people are gonna need learn to accept being uncomfortable with some of the decisions that are made.

Kinda like being married. Ive been married almost 20 years now and I have a laundry list of decisions the boss has made that I dont agree with but were still here lol. :)

I think we have 4 years each to compare are we better off with Joe or DT.
Which had better gas prices? Which had better grocery prices? Which had better interests rates to buy vehicles or homes? Which president law and order was better? Of 4 years of Trump and 4 years of Biden how many illegal immigrants have crossed? How many of these have not even been vetted? How many Chinese "immigrants" have crossed or have not been vetted? Is it possible to know how much fentanyl has crossed our border during each man's time? How many wars had been started elsewhere during each man's time in office.

Should come down to was America better under Trump or is it better under Biden. Which of these two shows more promise for our future?

    Another record stock day!

And I think Biden had as much to do with it as he did with inflation. Same with Orange dude, with exceptions to the deficit.

Apparently, sheep love talking points. Who ewe

Biden, and the professionals around him, hands down. lots of criteria you didn't mention, lots of things that the potus had little impact. there is no other rational choice to be made, it isn't even close

the comments about chip export limits to China crushed the chip makers today. Nvidia can stills ell them computing time, just not the hardware so I see it as a buying op.

I’m much better off financially now than 4 years ago. Stock market has been phenomenal. But I’m 4 years older and uglier. I’ll vote for the candidate that will promise to restore my youth and beauty

It appears the NYT was the watching the same convention I watched last night.

For eight chaotic years, Republicans battled in public and private, fighting over Donald J. Trump’s polarizing personality, his divisive policies and his history of electoral defeats through lawsuits and leadership battles, felony convictions and suburban defections.

Yet even before a single balloon has dropped at their national convention this week, Republicans have united — seemingly without reservation — behind the man and his message. Across downtown Milwaukee, delegates, officials and lawmakers appeared to be taking a victory lap in the middle of a race that many believe is breaking their way, galvanized by a would-be assassin’s bullet and the chaos gripping the rival party.

Even Mr. Trump’s most potent Republican primary foe, Nikki Haley, was greeted on Tuesday with a standing ovation as she testified to his fitness to return to the White House — an issue she had often questioned on the campaign trail.

“President Trump asked me to speak to this convention in the name of unity,” Ms. Haley said, adding: “I’m here tonight because we have a country to save. And a unified Republican Party is essential for saving her.”

General Mark Milley: I engage with him frequently and alert, sound, does his homework, reads the papers, reads all the read-ahead material. And he's very, very engaging in issues of very serious matters of war and peace and life and death," Milley said. "So if the American people are worried about an individual who is, you know, someone who's making decisions of war and peace and has access to, you know, makes the decisions of nuclear weapons and that sort of thing, I think they can rest easy.

Now please pick up your phone. Someone who has slipped and fallen in Home Depot needs your attention.

America is far better off. To start with, there aren't refrigerator trucks full of corpses outside our hospitals.

A unified MAGA is scary to contemplate.
