What's up with the Cormani stories going around?

yeah the championship teams here never had some interesting personalities...we are talking about some attitude problems not stuff UGA lets players get away with.
How about let's stop roasting our own players and let the coaches sort that out.

 

Coaches have to have respect and order. It’s pretty simple.

And that’s how things start to fall apart. If you start doing the exact opposite of what you demand of your team, you lose respect. The last staff was a glaring example of that.

 

There is a precarious area between acceptable risk and detrimental disruption. Let’s see if our team can navigate this successfully.

 

I'm still curious about the complete situation. Was the whole initial reporting incorrect, or just part of it. We know he's still part of the team, and the part about him being removed from the team is false. Is the part about him being regularly late to practice/meetings true or is that false as well? Maybe I missed something.

How started this crazy rumor to begin with? Just so that I can avoid believing that person's info in the future.

 

I'm pretty sure (and will be happy to retract my statement if shown otherwise) that the stories began with a quote by Nick de la Torre that @96Gatorcise even cited above in post #8.

 

Lol... oops. He may have gotten a bit ahead of himself on that one. I'll give him a second chance.

Lizard heard rumors and started the thread, ET asked for proof that was provided by myself when I came across the articles in my feed. It has been debunked that he has been dismissed from the team BUT it also has been verified that he is still up to his old antics of tardiness to meetings and workout sessions.

I think the staff will continue to push him to do better because it is still summer. But if he continues during fall camp, it will be a distraction and it needs to be handled harshly.

If he is causing the other players to have to do extra work because of his selfishness, the first hitting day of fall camp should be an Oklahoma drill with CM in the middle for the whole team to take a shot at him.

 

Rumors of dismissal have been reported as false. However, I haven't seen any corrections from sources about the tardiness...

 

. . . and by that, I interpret it to mean team-wide help improving his post-interception tackling evasion techniques. LOL!

 

Per his position coach:

“He’s been a lot more focused,” Sanders said. “A lot more understanding of the expectation and what we want from him — that we’ve challenged him tremendously all year long. He stood up to the task over the last, probably, week and a half.

“I’m really, really proud of Cormani. I really am.”

 

They're all "click slut's" nowadays. The entire business is really just awful.
