Doubtful. It's well known that conservatives in Washington despise Trump, even today

yeah had he said that in 2022 he’d be dead politically for not demonstrating complete fealty to Trump. In 2016 their party was a mess. Now they are in lockstep.

But I, for one, am really glad that he did say that. He knows deep down Trump is a piece of shit “demagogue” but he’s useful to him. He’s saying all the right things so he can take the reins from Trump in 4 years but I don’t think he’s being truthful. I think had he been Pence on Jan 6th he would have done the same as Pence did. He’s just blowing smoke up Trump’s ass so he can position himself as his heir.

And that guy sure as shit ain’t gonna be the next Trump. Way too smooth, not offensive enough, too smart, vocabulary is higher than third grade level etc.

And that’s why I’m not worried about MAGA continuing after 2028.

Qualified or not his ability to speak and make actual sense is about 100000x the current VP. What can be unburdened by what has been lol. Looking forward to that VP debate.

Great. He’s got zero experience in government other than 2 years in congress. Yale grad and venture capitalist with Peter Theil. He’ll be a gun nut’s bullet away from the presidency.

Vance is such a bad VP pick it could actually end up changing the election. Literally the worst individual he could have picked.

Now that’s some wishful thinking. I am so looking forward to watching this board completely meltdown over the course of the next few months of this campaign.

I was trying to figure out why Trump picked this guy because he doesn't hit any of the usual metrics for a VP.

Then I realized he meets one of the top criteria for Trump: He will bend the knee to Putin just like Trump does.

Well JD Vance is much more qualified than Tim Scott. I am just not sure at what.

Vance wants the votes now of the Trump supporters he called "idiots." Would you vote for a guy who called you an idiot?

Who could make up what has happened, is happening to this country? I think we're in the hands of some wild and crazy god who is having the time of his or her eternal life, making up this stuff as he or she goes along, for his or her own sick but divine amusement.

More interesting is Vance calling Trump a useful idiot. So what's more likely

Vance changed his mind on Trump?
    Or
Vance is using him as a useful idiot?

Fairly humurous how much this is getting glossed over by MAGA

That is what has always frightened me about Kamala only I don't worry as much about a gun nut as a heart attack or taking a bad fall down some ramp.

    Making friends.

Labour rejects JD Vance ‘first Islamist country with nuclear weapons’ remarks | Labour | The Guardian

Vance was speaking at the National Conservatism conference last week, where he said: “I have to beat up on the UK – just one additional thing. I was talking with a friend recently and we were talking about, you know, one of the big dangers in the world, of course, is nuclear proliferation, though, of course, the Biden administration doesn’t care about it.

And I was talking about, you know, what is the first truly Islamist country that will get a nuclear weapon, and we were like, maybe it’s Iran, you know, maybe Pakistan already kind of counts, and then we sort of finally decided maybe it’s actually the UK, since Labour just took over.

Not sure if there is more not shown on that clip, but he certainly did not say that women should stay in those marriages. He clearly said it works out for the moms and dads, but not the children.

Where is the lie. Broken marriages for whatever reason are bad for kids.

He could have said that better, but he didnt say they should "stay in violent marriages".
