I agree with a lot he has said.

But not everything

 

He doesn’t really call him Hitler here. At worst, he calls him a demagogue. But Vance at this time was one of millions of GOP who were saying much the same. It wasn’t until Trump beat Hillary the GOP establishment rallied around Trump. And even then, it was often muted.

FWIW, people whom Trump roasted like Graham and Rubio quickly became best buddies with Trump. That’s the nature of politics and not unique to Trump. I’m sure many of Bernie’s supporters would have acquiesced to Hillary had she won.

Bernie's criticisms of Hillary were on the margins and they were based on policy. He also complained about her association with big business. He never used very strong language suggesting that she was unfit for office unlike what Rubio, Graham, Cruz and Vance said about Trump back in 2016.

You really haven’t heard of this, or are you just playing dumb? It all hinged on some legal theory that if pence didn’t accept the results, and name Biden the winner, as required by the constitution, then they could sub in their fake electors and claim they won. The sober idiots chanting hang Mike pence we pissed that he didn’t go along with it. Trump reportedly said Pence deserved to be hanged for not going along with it. Thats the kind of VP is looking for this time…

 

GOP have a decent bullpen now for 2028. Vance, DeSantis and Haley. Rubio and Youngkin at the back end of that. All relatively young. I’m sure there will be a couple of additions to that list.
