Election day shows vote results. Not economic results. Your contention is Trump's economy was better than what all the numbers show, and all the numbers are fake news. But unless you have numbers to back your opinion, your opinion is useless.

And election day won't show Trump's economic results of a second term. That won't come in his first year either, as Presidents inherit the budget from their predecessor for their first year.

And the people elect those that make their lives better... The economy was far better with Trump... and it will be again when he wins the WH.

That's right... slow your roll and just wait for it to happen. Most Leftists have selective amnesia when it comes to Pub economies. They revise stats and facts, like with Reagan's economy, post 1982... after he got through to the Dems controlling the congress.

I'm reminded of this quote from Men in Black, "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals..."

All the numbers show Trump's economy was no better than Obama's 2nd term. And the inflation we experienced under Biden was world-wide, and caused by significant supply chain kinks and shortages that were unavoidable. Trump doesn't have a magic wand to wind the clock back to 2017, and if the panicky animals vote Trump back into office, if he enacts his entire economic package, the 15 Nobel Prize winning economists predictions will likely come true.

And I'm sure Trump sycophants will have more excuses on top of excuses that remove the blame from their orange deity. It's what they do best.

So you figure that if Trump wins again, it proves his economy was amazing. Show me the figures Trump's economy was as good as you claim. Because figures don't lie...but liars figure.

Project 2025 was organized and created by the Heritage Foundation. Trump did not have anything to do with its creation but has ties to its authors. You can call it Trump's Project 2025, but that would be misleading and false. Typical.

I remember when the economists in 2016 told us Trump would destroy our economy. These are the same economists. Fool me once.

I agree with this; it’s certainly not his. However, I am skeptical he doesn’t support it, to some degree, since he said he doesn’t know the people behind it when he clearly does have ties to them. It seems to me right now he is trying to distance himself politically until after the election.

well, they aren’t saying he will destroy the economy. but that if he implements his platform, inflation will continue or worsen. Basically more tax cuts or even making tax cuts permanent will drive up debt. Which results in US selling more bonds which drives up rates and interest. In addition, his campaign platform of sharp increase of 10% tariffs across the board and 60% tariffs on China, combined with mass deportation of immigrants would make inflation pressure even worse.

Yes, in your mind it was far better under Trump, and in your mind it will again be far better starting on Jan 20, 2025.

Trump did not manage to “destroy the economy”, because he did not get his agenda passed. He did manage to immediately double the deficit he inherited, and then totally shit the bed with Covid.

Obviously his NAFTA talk showed to be bluster (he in no way “ended” NAFTA, which indeed would have been economically devastating), nevertheless the stuff he puts on the table is no less stupid or crazy.

    “Just tax my political enemies”.

That sounds like actual tyranny. Not the make believe tyranny meal team 6 cosplays for. But I wouldn’t expect rabidtrumpfan to comprehend.

Another flag waving patriot I’m sure.

I thought large swaths of so-called “conservatives” lost their minds in ‘08 when Obama was elected. But holy shit, it’s next level cray-cray now.

Just a few steps removed from that fascist the other day who was proposing to throw all those who oppose Trump into camps. I'd love to see what part of the constitution allows for that.
