Vance is the MAGA heir apparent, but djt may see that as a threat even if he is a bootlicker at the moment. I really hope for Burgrum but fear he may be too much of an adult and not enough sycophant for djt

That is my thought process exactly. DJT’s narcissistic personality disorder will grant this position to 1) the biggest bootlicker and 2) the person who he doesn’t perceive as the biggest threat to himself personally to stay the face of his movement.

I think Burgum is smart enough to navigate those two factors. Vance clearly has #1 covered. There was an informative WSJ article saying that DJT Jr. and Vance are best buds now which would cover #2 for him. Could be a Rubio if he has done enough bootlicking because Trump doesn’t view him as a threat.

I've been thinking it will be Vance, although perhaps a slightly risky pick given the things Vance previously said about Trump.

I still have Vance although I felt his X post on the former president’s assassination attempt was wrong and disqualified him.

I fear djt wants a personal fixer to do his dirty work and Vance is willing to swing the axe while Burgum will have reservations? Retribution vs narcissism...which one wins? Hoping for the latter

    Tulsi ?

But that would make too much sense.

Yeah, you can’t discount that either. My most direct source of news is Michael Cohen on Tik Tok for fixers. He gets on at 10pm every evening. It’s fascinating to hear from Trump’s former fixer. He rambles from Stormy Daniels to North Korea.

I think Trump is smart enough to keep the fixers in the background. Until he can’t and needed Pence to be a fixer. Thank God Pence wasn’t.

Narcissism always wins from what I have heard, but I’m not a psychologist/psychiatrist.

Vance’s odds are trending higher. “smart money” coming in right before kickoff? Currently at 55%

I'd like Rubio--Conservative, Catholic, Cuban American, Republican, a Florida guy, and a Gator. (I mean, that sounds like...me! How could I not want that guy in line for POTUS?) :D

...but I'll go with with conventional wisdom here--JDV.

Rubio is too swampy. Vance will be announced today.

Would be very surprised it were. She is not nearly obsequious enough and had the temerity to say bad (truthful) things about trump.

I vote for Tim Tebow, at least that pick would unify most of us on too hot. But I doubt we would win the state of Georgia with this pick.

Bovada. They didn't have politics on it until very recently.

Just saw I can get Biden to win the popular vote at +150! Woah.

As we know, popular does not matter. It's all about the electoral. Picking Vance helps him in Ohio. If he takes down that " blue wall" Penn, OH, , Wisc,, he's in.

Vance may be the only person Trump could lose with. I think it’s gonna be something safe and boring maybe Rubio?
