Really hard to believe the idea security for a former President would be denied by a property owner. But certainly possible. I still can’t get my head around the reality the most basic checklist item for the SS on this task would be missed. I am fascinated by aviation. Would have flown if I did not meet my wife at UF. I have watched every Air Disasters on Smithsonian/Discovery. So many accidents have led to checklists and changes to prevent human error. It is really hard to understand how the SS did not have someone on that rooftop. Really hard!
Good point. I forgot about all the counterfeiting and financial crime investigations they do. Views can change. So I'm interested to see if we ever find out why.
If there were logistical issues with securing nearby properties it would be interesting to know how & why this site was chosen and whether there were other more easily secured sites available. Not for any conspiracy angle, but more to the foresight of the event planners.
I don't think political views played any part in his decision any more than someone opening fire in a theatre. I think it was mental issues and essentially suicide.
Um. A tweet? How about I link you to thousands of tweets claiming some other shooter did this and it’s all a coverup?
4 months ago Newt Gingrich predicted when the lawfare failed and Trump was heading to victory the Democrats would turn to violence .
He did not do that. I listened to the complete speech that night, and he did not do that, in spite of MSM's twisting it to seem that way. Twain today I'm sure would have made his famous words about statistics comparable to sound bites.
Not me. Trump's a man with faults. So is Biden, who is no better a man. Same with Obama. Same with me and you. Still don't get how 'make America great again' is negative.
And he asked Pelosi, who is in charge of the House, for additional troops before the day -- she said no. His speech never about charging the Capitol. Listen to it in full. He is not to blame for radical followers. Believe me, we saw months of burning buildings, police stations, and worse from Biden followers. They weren't his fault. Hillary denied losing her election. So did Stacy Abrams. Politicians don't like to lose. But he did not launch a 'coup'. He was president for 4 years and was very successful and even handled the shock of Covid brilliantly, and he did it all lawfully.
Not it's not. It's saying America has been greater. And will be again. It's a campaign slogan. Good grief. Go back hundreds of years and they always existed.
Yes, it is. It is not "Make America Greater." Do all the mental gymnastics you want. Doesn't change what the slogan is.
Perhaps someone can explain this to me. Seems evident this counter sniper had the would be assassin scoped well beforehand, but waited to shoot after Crooks began firing. Why?
