Questionable as to whether that was a cat 4 as the thing testing the wind at nas broke during the storm. It was pretty bad. I think it broke at 165 which is just a gust but still, worst one possibly in my lifetime and we’ve had several. Tornados were a big factor up towards Brewton area. Tons of tornados.
‘04. FL got hit by 4 big storms, Charley, Frances, Ivan and one more I can’t recall the name of. 2 hit Stuart and came near Gainesville. I was out of power for a total of 10 days that year.
Ivan 2004. Quite my sportswriting job and took my roofing guns and aircompressers out of storage! Good move money wise but I did miss chasing football on Friday nights!!
We had Dennis hit Pensacola right after Ivan. Both work fairly significant. My mom was in Indian rocks for Charlie and that bunch of bowling bullshit over there.
Dennis was the following year. At least it was mid day. I remember walking outside and checking the damage as the eye of the hurricane was passing over. The calm before round two!
My apologies to all the recruitniks on this thread. I always complain when a message thread is hijacked and here I am doing just that. Welcome aboard Mr. Myles Johnson. I will be looking forward to you suiting up and decleating a Georgia or FSu quarterback!
Was hurt last year. Has legit speed if he can maintain when puts weight on. A little light currently for a LB. Could get a ratings bump if remains healthy his senior year and no lingering injury issues
I’ve seen 6’1 and 210 to 213 pounds but has another year to put on weight and muscle. Shamar is listed at 230. Don’t think Myles is anywhere near they at present Can he keep speed when at 225? Can he remain injury free as an inside LB with a smaller body?
6'1"/220 as a rising senior is plenty big. I don't get the concern that he is going to be an undersized LB. I'm not sure he won't grow another inch to boot. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see him playing in the 235-240 range without losing his speed that he has improved on in each of the last 2 years. If he wants to play RB, he's big enough to be an impact now. Again, I don't know how those speeds posted above transfer to the football field, but in all of his games on video, he is the fastest player on the field. Football, basketball, track, I like these multi-sport athletes who are highly athletic.
