A lot of right wing posters think they're opinion is super special and deserves a new thread for attention.
That is false. He never requested it. The defense secretary Trump appointed testified it was false. Trump also failed to give any notice that he wanted the military there. He requested nothing. Please get your facts straight. Trump did not have 10,000 troops ready to deploy on Jan. 6, his defense secretary says
You've been misled. There was never such a request. https://www.politico.com/live-updat...rump-jan-6-national-guard-fact-check-00165615 Trump falsely claimed, repeatedly, that he offered thousands of National Guard troops to protect the Capitol that day. He also falsely claimed that then- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi turned down the offer for troops. Trump never made such an offer, and Pelosi never rejected it, as Trump claimed. His military leadership has confirmed that there was no formal offer made, despite some private musings in the days before Jan. 6.
Trump's acting Secretary of Defense at the time. https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/26/politics/chris-miller-house-select-committee/index.html
The shooter was a piece of crap who murdered an innocent person and injured two others. He got what he deserved. I’ll let you all waste your time by arguing what allegiance he had to any political party or group.
WASHINGTON - Today, Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) released a transcribed interview the January 6 Select Committee conducted with President Trump's former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato, which shows President Donald Trump pushed for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the nation’s capital. The interview also shows White House frustration with slow deployment of assistance. The Select Committee conducted this interview in January of 2022, but never released it. Following Mollie Hemingway's reporting, Chairman Loudermilk released the following statement: “The former J6 Select Committee apparently withheld Mr. Ornato’s critical witness testimony from the American people because it contradicted their pre-determined narrative," said Chairman Loudermilk. "Mr. Ornato's testimony proves what Mr. Meadows has said all along, President Trump did in fact offer 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol, which was turned down. "This is just one example of important information the former Select Committee hid from the public because it contradicted what they wanted the American people to believe. And, this is exactly why my investigation is committed to uncovering all the facts, no matter the outcome.” Chairman Loudermilk Publishes Never-Before Released Anthony Ornato Transcribed Interview
so the big gotcha is this nut gave $15 over 3 years ago to some dem pac? When he was 16 or 17? even tough as an adult he registered as a repub.
The next gotcha will be pictures of him wearing a blue hat, which will clearly show his allegiance to the Democratic Party.
I would also add that rationally the term "bullseye" as used by Biden or the reference to "elimination" of Donald Trump as used by Dan Goldman should be construed metaphorically as references to eliminating Donald Trump as a candidate for the presidency or as targeting Trump personally as a political strategy. While Trump may not have been serious when he referred to "Second Amendment people" in reference to Hillary Clinton there is little doubt as to what the expression means to true believers specifically that the purpose of the Second Amendment is ensure that armed resistance is a valid vehicle of last resort against a political adversary.
It is funny that they pulled down the actual transcript of that interview and just left their summary. I wonder why? Oh, this is probably why: Jan. 6 committee didn’t ‘suppress testimony’ about Trump
If you do not think it's credible please provide a link to an objective source indicating that Trump did offer to provide troops to protect the Capitol.
And you conveniently left out pertinent information. I don’t know what kind of lawyer you are but you’d be embarrassed in court pulling that kind of stunt.
Yeah some guy overheard Mark Meadows talking on the phone. Same guy said that he was not aware of Trump asking for NG troops.
Really. You want me to throughly research one dumbass post, or you want me to respond to the rest of the dumbass posts? I don’t have time to address the hypocrisy in each post on this board. Where’s your integrity and professionalism?
You’re the one making a false claim and then selectively quoting from a source to try to justify your position, not I. Same goes for the bullseye posts you’ve been spamming.
