Yup. That’s a layup for a decent shooter with good equipment. Trump is very lucky to still be alive.

Friend of mine has a shooting range on his South Georgia farm, including a sniper tower. With a high grade rifle and military scope I hit a target dummy in the head at 500 + yards, and I had never shot a rifle before. The gun did all the work.

 

Very freaking lucky. With Trump standing relatively still the shot should have been pretty easy. I'd imagine the adrenaline running through the guy made it harder. Just unbelievable.

 

Managed to shoot him dead just a few seconds after firing at Trump. But what…never saw him on the roof with a gun? Bad look. Reason for endless conspiracy theories.

 

I said it in the other thread. This is more likely to be something from Trump rather than whoever conservatives think from the deep state would have done it. There is absolutely no way the deep state sets this up and they miss. It's also very, very unlikely someone got anywhere near that place with a gun. Knowing the little I know about special forces, I guarantee you they knew of every living thing within a 2-3 mile radius.

He turned his head to the right at the moment the gun was fired. Had he not, it would likely be a kill shot. Watch the video. His face was facing the direct line of the shooter as the gun was fired. Who happened to be on top of the roof, plain sight and in daylight. I believe many of our agencies have been weaponized and if there are those who deem DT to be a threat of winning and should he win investigating corruption within our government then it is plausible a green light is given. It has been said there was a failure with the Secret Service in protecting DT. I like to think a thorough and fair investigation will take place but honestly, I don't trust our government.

It's equally plausible that all the heated rhetoric that DT is like Hitler, or an existential threat to democracy or worse than satan then yeah some nut job will think they are saving America. It's sad that this race has come down to insults verses policy differences.

 

It would be nice to think our politicians would simply focus on policies and policy differences without insults. Both are guilty. But I doubt it would stop with the media who love to sling insults and further polarize this country. Frankly, I don't think the great divide will ever truly come together. Sad. Case in point "Too Hot".

 

Every person in the democratic party orbit helped to pull the trigger in the attack, but Biden is by far the worst evil ever elected to push all in the orbit over the cliff into actual violence. Sleep well tonight, the Biden KGB is the lead investigation team.

 

I see the libs in here are doubling down on hate of Trump and Conservatives tonight.

And if you don't, you can always pull a UCF, claim victory, and storm the Capitol again.

 

This is not at all shocking given all the hyperbole from the left painting Trump as a nazi, an existential threat to democracy, and a fascist who will shoot people in the streets if reelected.

Lawfare didn’t work. So now it’s all indirect, and bordering on direct, calls to violence to the extreme Left.

Hopefully they investigate this as much as they did January 6th event.

Hadn't been following much as I'm traveling, but the bbc said shooter was around 130m away. If true, that is a massive failure of the SS.

 

Sometimes it's better to stay quiet so people only assume you're clueless.
