Shots fired at Trump during rally

Do I blame Democrats for this? No.

Do I have any doubt that if the roles were reversed, Democrats and even some posters here would be blaming Trump? Also no.

How do I know? Some people here seem to be implying Trump is at fault for this attack on Trump. And frankly, there’s not much else to say about people like that apart from that they’re sick.

 

I lived near Butler PA…it’s just as likely he was being robbed. Not a great town.

 

It's so weird. There's a dude in a hat on the left side of the screen. He doesn't react whatsoever when it happens. Not alleging a conspiracy but dude must have ice water in his veins or he's very confused.

 

River, you are taking a civil approach to this and I agree that tempers are high right now. My two daughters are both crying now and I’m shaking right now I’m so angry. We’ve put up with liberals calling this guy Satin and Hitler for way too long and we’re not going to stand for it any longer.

 

CNN is reporting he was apprehended.

 

It could be, but watching the video numerous times, you don’t see anyone reacting to shots. All you see is Trump reacting by covering the right side of his face with his right hand.

 

Political violence is never ok. That said it is not automatically the fault of anyone who dares to disagree with Trump. Last I checked we still have the first amendment.

For those posters who immediately came here to spin it as Trumps fault, claim it’s a false flag, blame conservatives, blame democrats, blame Biden, etc… any other political cheerleading… you are despicable human being. We just watched attempted murder and some of you can’t take you skirt off long enough to acknowledge the awfulness of the event.

I would not rule out a foreign entity like Iran, China, Russia, North Korea. It is hard to know what groups in the world might want Trump dead, or might want to foment division in the US.

 

Wolf Blitzer said it quickly then hasn’t repeated it. Was just looking on Twitter and might be pre mature.
