26? Penix just turned 24 a couple months ago.

Rising is a year younger than Hendon Hooker, who was picked in the 3rd last year. Guys like Weinke and Brandon Weeden were in their late 20s when they were drafted. If a QB has talent, they will get a shot no matter how old they are.

We still claiming Mike gundy is worse than Kirby?
Absolutely incredible how they continue to avoid any scrutiny. Cue the Florida ran the most rogue program ever people...

What an absolute affront to the memory of their deceased teammate and staffer.

I couldn't get into the 247 article and googled it and from uga itself:

"On Thursday morning, it was announced that two Georgia football players were arrested for reckless driving, one of which was also charged with racing, first reported by UGAsports.com. Offensive lineman Bo Hughley was involved in a single-car accident and the incident included failure to maintain lane and reckless driving. Linebacker Smael Mondon was also charged with reckless driving and racing. The two incidents were not connected and were separate.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, this is not the first occurrence of reckless driving over the last year. In fact, on Wednesday it was announced that running back Trevor Etienne had new developments in his incident. A recent update detailed that charges of DUI less safe and DUI under 21 were dismissed while Etienne pled no contest to a reckless driving charge, per Athens Banner-Herald's Marc Weiszer."

Imagine that, racing and charges dropped against Etiennne.

This is an indictment on their town as much as it is their football program. It’s now expected for their players to endanger folks around that county and the authorities will do nothing about it, and the problem will persist.

Mullin loyalty to Hevesy is part of what cost him his job at UF. Hevesy was a non-recruiting non productive coach who was well compensated for doing a poor job.

BUT the X post looks like he has a home inspection company that is tied in with a Lowe's store. Better than sitting around the house waiting for the phone to ring for a coaching job in my opinion. From everything I've read, I don't care much for the type of coach or person he was at UF, but not gonna mock the guy for making a living. (Well not unless I've got some bourbon or scotch in me!! then it's BWAHAHAHAHA!)

I’ve never understood how the schools don’t have a copy of the contract. Is that common? Is to avoid FOI stuff?

I assume that all the schools agreed to it so they know what was in there but seems like they’re trying hide something. And God knows I hate fsu so not trying to defend them just an odd situation

The thing that is perplexing is that he was above average at his job @ cowbell U… but completely underperformed here. I’ve become more and more convinced with each coaching failure that there is only a small finite # of people in the profession that can handle the grind & pressure and have the gravitas needed to be successful at this school.

$26 really? Kirby spends more per month on shipping his collection of gag balls and BDSM latex outfits than that fine. (Use your imagination here if you dare)

Beginning July 1, Georgia drivers caught in illegal street racing will face serious penalties

Let’s see if the state will put their money where their mouth is? I’m guessing once again after the Etienne ruling, the answer is no. How many lives will be lost before someone with authority puts a foot down?

Perhaps after they’ve made a half mil for ten years they get lazy from financial security?
