Blah, blah, blah, the US isn't part of the globe. The US is the leader of the globe which it has not been under Biden.

Blah, blah, blah, if you love what they have in Europe, move there. You are sure as heck going to be unhappy to be in the US after the November elections. So many celebs say they are going to move if Trump wins and then they don't move. Don't be a hypocrite like the celebs.

    Don't you Trumpies hate "globalism"?

It's hard to keep track. It's like you all (YOU) just babble out whatever meaningless word salad seems appropriate.

Blah blah blah...the smartest thing you've written on this thread. The leader of the globe is still part of the community! Again, you could have the nicest house on the block, but if all your neighbors stop taking care of their homes, your house price will suffer and fall! But you are the leader with the nicest house!!! Ha ha ha.

When your child does wrong, you correct them. That's what Trump does and Biden won't do, Europe being the child.

As long as you concede Trump is just as responsible as Biden is for the inflation then I’m good.

This is so silly, I can only laugh as a response.

What Trump will do is help himself and kowtow to his master, Putin. And while we are a leader, we are not other countries' parent! We need them as much as they need us. Again, it is not possible for us to produce all we consume. Nor is it possible for us to consume all we produce. Treat other countries as children and not as equal trading partners, and they will rebel...just like all teenagers do!

And we are still a part of the global community. Even as leader. We cannot and do not act as kings and believe we are immune to what happens all around us. And when the entire globe is experiencing mass inflation due to significant supply chain kinks, we can't just wave our scepter and claim we should be immune to what's happening all over the globe! And if you think Trump magically has this power, then again, all I can do is LOL!!!

I would say that Trump put the bike in gear, popped the clutch and wound that thing out through first gear up to the red line and wanted badly to shift into second. Biden jumped onto the seat in front of Trump and shifted to second with Trump still on the seat behind him and then wound through 2nd, 3rd, and into 4th. Thankfully economic stats and Powell finally waking up forced him to rotate the throttle forward.

I wouldn’t put it at equal blame, but I damn sure blame Trump for getting the nonsense out of the starting gate and up to speed.

When Trump was in office, he was pushing for the same kinds of stimulus as Europe was. What do you believe Trump did to correct Europe on inflation?

So I am supposed to believe what your wife told you over all the objective information that says otherwise? I suspect your wife probably has the same political axe to grind as you do, but whatever please keep posting every time your wife makes an observation that feeds your narrative.

My wife does the shopping. She knows more than junk reporters and junk economists.

The June CPI is released tomorrow. I will be just as interested to see if the 3.3 May rate is revised up or down.

Disagree to say it was a bipartisan effort brought about as a result of trying to make sure the US didn't have millions in loss of life compared to hundreds of thousands in loss of lives.

Biden did the rest even giving the middle finger salute to ex-Obama aids who said the additional spending measures weren't necessary and would spur inflation plus the Fed Reserve who was admonishing the Biden Administration to restrain its fiscal spending. Then like now about not dropping out of the race Biden is good at one thing, giving the middle finger salute to anyone he disagrees with.
