I posted it a while back (and was told I was overreacting by saying it was representative of the problems there), but that was before they were demoted.
But I guess Columbia finally got the memo on basic common sense. Even if you don’t think they were that bad, given what’s happened recently on their campus the hammer had to come down, no choice. And the professors had to have understood the politics of that before they were dumb enough to send these texts, even if they were thought to be private.

I can't say for certain if it's a rare event or if it's more of a widespread sentiment but it is obviously troubling that these sentiments were shared by faculty let alone upper level faculty at that. Also the dismissiveness of these events by some who are quick with the trigger to make indictments and ascribe motives regarding other various issues that align with their own biases is troubling. Just the devolution of genuine objective discourse I guess.

Columbia’s president has resigned over her inability to control antisemitism on that campus. Quite honestly, I don’t care what Columbia does …. as long as they keep their outlet store in Daytona/Holly Hill nicely merchandises with their great clothing and shoes at discounted prices.

She didn't call the SWAT team hard enough on kids, I guess. Its hard to know what is good enough for the idiots convinced Hamas is funding 20 year old protestors. One of the most heavy handed responses in the country, and it still didnt please them.

Could you imagine what the MSM would be saying if this was protestors blocking Black students from getting to class? And UCLA is appealing? Damn, Antisemitism is running rampant in colleges.
