Obama was gullible with regard to Russia. In his defense, Russia had not done all that much up to that point. They had already had a rumble in Georgia, and towards the end of Obama's second term, they invaded and kept Crimea after Hillary handed Putin a "Reset" button, of all stupid things. I am positive that Obama gave up most of his gullibility with regard to Russia by the time he left office. I'm not a democrat (and I never voted for Obama), so I have no need to defend Obama. Trump was equally gullible (even after Crimea), in addition to having business interests and personal (entertainment) history in Russia: a dangerous combination for a greedy businessman-president with a tendency to try to buy silence from his whores (and, undoubtedly, their pimps). Trump spent a lot of time trying to sweet-talk the barbarians. He certainly never said anything approaching the "Evil Empire" speeches of Ronald Reagan.

It must be nice to live in such a simple world with such simple logic. If we had more Americans like you, we might be able to bring back witch trials: "She was there when the earthquake happened, eating a sandwich that was known to cause earthquakes, according to leading soothsayers! Can't be nearly as nice as living in a political world where the media-you know, the one that is protected via the first Amendment--in order to free them up to vet and scrutinize political servants of the ppl (govmnt ofc holders)--plays politiburo guard dog to the very ppl, institutions and offices they're charged with vetting....

...and nicer still, to be among the lemming masses who need not think of any position, but merely regurgitate their spoon fed talking points from said office holder, via said poodley watch dog guard bunnies...
