The swirl doesn’t happen unless the decision has already been made. The bottom line is the Dems drank the kool aid and pinned their hopes on Biden under fraudulent pretenses. Some of us have been warning you for years. When the fraud could no longer be covered up, it’s like rats fleeing into the sewer. The rats aren’t coming back home. One of the cult leaders is making a list of doubters and defectors they will label as apostates. I agree partly with what you’re saying. The Dems are screwed in 2024 no matter what they do here. They pinned their hopes on a fraud and the fraud was exposed. You’re not winning the election. Punt to 2028 and understand this is where fraud leads you.
I disagree. Politicians rarely recover from something like this (Trump being the exception with Republicans). If I have to I’ll vote for Biden over Trump, but only because it’s Trump. I have been generally a core supporter of Biden, but it’s hard for me to ever see myself that way again. He is completely delusional as to his capabilities, which I think in its own right is dangerous, he has been dismissive and arrogant to most Democrats who think he should go, and has revealed himself to be more selfish than I expected, putting his personal ambition over the good of the country. If he leaves I’ll still think positively of him. If he doesn’t I’ll view him along the lines RBG and Diane Feinstein - who both put their own desires ahead of the country.
And yet with all your justifiable frustration you’ll still vote for him, that’s my point. I think that’s the prevailing sentiment among dems, Trump scares them far more than Biden disappoints them. No one was ever really Pro Biden outside of a few people, it was always anti Trump. And if anything that part is worse. Keep in mind, 49 percent of independents said Trump should drop out after his conviction, and he’s still here too, and now winning. It’s a long way to go before November in both directions. And who knows maybe tomorrow actually does something, I just would be really surprised.

They would be the most likely to stay home, they’re already not overly happy with him. That’s not the point though. When his biggest critics within the party get behind him, it strengthens his position more than if his more traditional supporters did. It’s why he made getting her on board a priority.

Cult? Lol I’m not even a Biden fan, I’ve been clear he could lose big. If he does he does, but the dems don’t have better options, the polls have moved about a point and a half to two points, which is exactly what I posted above , and long term might be nothing, polls move they much regularly. Much of the conversation right now is reactionary. If you can’t accept what I’m saying as fairly mild position, it’s probably better if you don’t respond.

If he is forced to resign from the nomination because of “cognitive decline”, he needs to also resign as President. You can’t have it both ways, although they will try. It will consume the news and distract from the race. The Dems need to circle the wagon and prop up a Biden-Harris ticket with Harris being the party choice if Biden resigns in 2025 or later.

He's performing the job. Regardless, many are openly calling for him to step down. This wouldn't happen in the Republican Party.
