Is the biggest momentum changer. My vote is the fumble through the rnd zone that negates a touchdown and gives the other team the ball

Burrows pick six was all the way down the field and turned that game on a dime.

I love pick 6s... Spikes had a few...especially liked the one where after he scores, he punts the ball into the stands...

Not all the way down the field. Moreso almost inside the twenty. Must be thinking of Perine going down the sidelines against Auburn.

I’m going to go with and 3rd and long against a Grantham coached defense…Just when you thought the defense was getting off the field it turned into a huge gain or 6 points. Honorable mention to the worlds worst play call against fsu that turned the game.

Thought the question was asked about a general type of play and not a specific one from a Gator game.

Lots of good answers but I think giving up a long score on a 3rd or 4th down when the crowd is loud is absolutely deflating. We've been plagued by that over the years so maybe I'm a bit sensitive to it.

Did not see the replay from the broadcast where the roar was LOUD. Really impressive noise.

Or a pick. Turnover in the red zone then go the other way and score a TD for 14 point swing.

Also hard to beat a fake punt for a long gain and first down when you HAVE to have it. And then you score.

I think it was Spurrier who said the team that has a punt blocked usually loses the game.

Lot of great answers here but, I agree with those saying the pick six can be a huge game/momentum changer. I was at the 91’ game when Larry Kennedy intercepted a pass in the 4th qtr and took it back 44 yards for a TD against Tennessee. That moment is the loudest I had ever heard the Swamp up to that time.
I was also at the SEC Championship game when a pick six by Ben Hanks stopped a long drive by Arkansas and he took it 95 yards for a TD: The Gators never looked back.

Has to be a fumbled kick return that's picked up and returned for a TD after that team just score right before the kickoff.

That's a 14 point swing before the fumbling teams offense even got back on the field
