Still makes more sense than guy who described the problem of deciding between death by sharks or death by an electric boat battery or who praised a fictional serial killer.

Thank you for the commentary Adolph. Now please sit down and be quiet.

Wait a second; Jo is short for Joseph. You’re a Joseph Stalin wanna be. And another piece of the puzzle falls into place!!

    Ouch.

You batter me with verbal blows, as if from a Trumpian war hammer- weilded with as much force as from a member of the Trump family assaulting the financial accounts of a charity they are entrusted to protect.

What do I think of her?: She'll lose to Trump.
    Why?: She sucks.

If dems are too scared to do the right thing, they can sit down & shut up for the next 4 years of the BIG GOV TRUMP shitshow.

Actually if you want to draw a comparison between Adolph Hitler and Joe Stalin the guy in the lower right seems like a better model.

open it up to competition or barring that just pick the person who is most likely to beat Trump. I would ask your thoughts, but pretty sure I know them. Losers gonna lose, but, you'll have your misguided sense of righteousness YAY!!

Isn't that conclusory? Anyone they choose could win or lose? Biden won the primary. He's the person the voters chose. Harris is the other person on the ticket. It's too late to have another primary. So what's the plan here? How do you open it up to competition?

If you do it at the convention, it's the party elites choosing, not the voters. Maybe they pick the best person. Maybe they don't. But is that real competition? Or does it devolve into a game of who can bribe the most people with political favors?

Yes, I imagine you know my thoughts. If Biden steps down, you roll with Harris. Why? She's his VP. She has name recognition. She's young. She's experienced. She's also currently polling the best of all candidates in a future non-Biden primary. Plus, they can transfer the massive campaign war chest to her. My understanding of campaign finance rules is that they can't do that to others.

Is she the strongest candidate? Who the hell knows. I get the arguments for others, but they're pure speculation. None have proven anything. Buttigieg has never won an election beyond the mayorship in South Bend. Whitmer did great in Michigan in 2022, but the same was true of DeSantis in Florida in 2022. Warnock and Beshear look great on paper, but they lack national name recognition. Klobuchar would likely be great at the job, but she doesn't have name recognition or overwhelming charisma. So on and so forth.

Maybe Kamala Harris loses. Maybe she wins. But I don't see any sure thing. At minimum, she can vigorously campaign and present a strong contrast to Trump on law and order (she's a former prosecutor; he's a felon), on women's issues, and age (Trump is nearly as old as Biden and even more incoherent). Which horse do you pick to beat Trump?

cuz I know you I did not feel the need to read much…made it to that sentence about elites ….yes, I would very much appreciate the elites making the call. I become more pro elite every day.

And if they pick Kamala Harris? Or does answering that question require you to read too much?

Already said I think KH loses to Trump, no matter who chooses her. IMO if KH is not willing to play along she probably is the best choice…& she’ll lose. Also, has anyone voted directly for KH for the dem nom?

I’m very glad to see you acknowledging reality here. The party elite made the choice in 16 and 20 as they felt that they had to torpedo Bernie. They just did it before the convention.

Kamala is the only other option they have. They obviously don’t have confidence in her or don’t want her or else she would already moving to the Oval Office. The fact that it is not done yet does surprise me.

Kamala Harris would have to reveal what she knew about Biden, when she knew it, and why did she cover for Biden, huge obstacles to overcome for the sitting VP who should have known better than to participate in the cover up. With Biden refusing to willingly go, the 2024 election is a loss for the democratic party. It's Trump 45 & 47, an historical election made easier by the democratic party cover up for Biden.

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned. Keep Biden at the top of the ticket, but campaign on the idea that if he is not able to continue, then Harris will step in.

If that sounds weak, then it probably shows the putting her at the top of the ticket would be just this weak.

Do you remember... Biden said the Kamala/Biden ticket over and over again in 2019... trying to be funny. Well... his wife ain't laughing about that now. She (Jill) will not give up the thrown (WH) to Kamala.
