Will be getting my gator tattoo in the next few weeks. Thought about it for a long time but finally found a picture that I like. Just curious. Any of my fellow fans have a Gator Tat.. All of my coworkers are laughing and saying we can’t believe you didn’t get one along time ago… Lol
I have had old Albert tattooed on my right shoulder since the late 90's. I was just a skinny college kid back then and the size was right for the time, but as I've gotten older and fatter, the tat looks kinda small now.
I love my family, love my Gators, love the U.S. Army, etc... I'm not getting them or anything else tatted on my body.
I read something recently that said the ink wasn't particularly good for you. Fortunately, FWIW the Gator logos are really good graphics. Regarding the removal process, I've seen people that have gotten them removed and there was still a bit of a ghost image on their skin. Not cheap either, a laser process. My daughter wants one. Which I think is a poor decision seeing she has her mom's very white skin, she makes copy paper look dark!! My daughter is an animation major in Art College, so it is simply art for her. I will say, beyond the Gator logos, tattoo art in general has come a long way. Everyone seems to have them now. I have none personally. A have a couple of buddies in their 60's and they're just getting them now. I say whatever rocks your world. Go Gators.
I can't figure out how to post an image..... But, I have the mid-field Gator head logo on my upper right arm in plain black ink.
The site software can be picky about pictures and logos . . . size, resolution, etc. Sending you a PM.
I don’t have tattoos and probably will die without one. I have seen them become more and more socially accepted. My guess is in the future nearly everyone will have some ink.
The thing that makes me curious about tattoos is the relative permanence of them. If I had to decide what pictures I was going to hang on my walls, but, the deal was that I had to leave them there for the rest of my life, I would just get nothing. Not sure how someone can decide what picture they want on their skin forever, especially for a young person. I guarantee your tastes, interests, and beliefs will change throughout your life.
