Figured on that one. Kid has major talent. Will be interesting to see if he can make a big impact at Arkansas. I can see him as a Sunday guy.

 

They spent a lot more than many thought he was worth. While this is certainly a surprise, in the NiL era you expect the unexpected.

 

I'm surprised there's not much talk about Andrew Fischer(3rd Baseman) and Liam Doyle(LHP) on here. Are we suppose to keep this one quiet for now? If so the story is out there. Let's just say things are getting interesting...

Doyle seems like a kid with a lot of potential. A lefty with high era, but also high Ks per 9 inn. Was in line for ole Miss weekend rotation next season.

 

Sounds a bit like the 2024 Gator pitching staff(which reached the CWS semifinals).

Yeah, when Fischer left UF without committing, it felt like Tennessee would be the choice. We were thought to be the leader but the Vols are on an absolute roll right now.

Not exactly sure what Plan B is right now but not a good day for Sully and his program.

 

Money talked. Can't compete when schools like TN, LSU, etc offer much more money than we do. Got to get lucky from draft and hope a positional player doesn't sign, however that is looking less likely.

 

Tennessee has lots of money available to spend and they are using it. Big donors with passion for UT sports. I know UT's support staff.

 

Can we get a list of who we acquired vs who we lost through the transfer portal as well as the high probability impact of the upcoming draft for Gator Baseball 2025?
