once a single party that controls at least enough of the senate to block impeachment abandons their responsibility to be an impartial part of checks and balances for egregious actions, you can do what you want. that was the danger of impeaching djt and having the senate fail to be an impartial judge.

There's zero evidence that Biden, previous Presidents and Presidential candidates committed crimes. Meanwhile, there was sufficient evidence against Trump to convince different grand juries in different jurisdictions to indict him.

Those are facts. Not unproven BS speculation.

We ALL heard his words on tape pressuring Georgia election officials to falsify the election results by the exact number of votes he needed to win.

We ALL saw his brownshirts sack the Capitol building in an effort to stop Congressional certification of a fair and legal election (as determined by the courts). Thanks to Trump, for the first time, we didn't have a peaceful transition of power.

 

Adding that if Trump is truly innocent of the charges against him as claims he would want to be tried and presumably exonerated as soon as possible giving him the opportunity to claim that he was found innocent of trumped up charges filed against him by a politicized DOJ. Instead he is having his attorneys use every possible delaying tactic to avoid trials prior to the election and with the exception of the New York State trial in Manhattan his delaying tactics have been successful.
