Yes, there were "borders" (although it should be mentioned that "borders" in the time of the Gospels was largely just borders between sections of the Roman Empire, which explains the flight to Egypt and why there was no need for paperwork for a Roman subject to move to other areas). But there is no passage where it says that you are supposed to militarize them to keep out the others. "Citizenship" was the invention of Greek city states. It also has very little to do with the modern sense of citizenship. Most people at the time in most of the world were subjects (or members of tribes), not citizens. And no, many areas allowed migration without governmental permission at the time. Sex trafficking largely doesn't work the way that you think it does. Largely, sex trafficking works within border, not between countries. Borders are some of the most policed areas of the world, making the notion of trafficking people for purely sexual purposes a difficult proposition. Where you do see sex trafficking is based upon payment for entry, which is an industry that exists because of restriction, not in spite of it. Fentanyl only exists because of the militarization of the border and the drug war. Drug dealers don't want to kill their customers. However, the more difficult we make it to bring other drugs across, the more attractive fentanyl is, as it is harder to detect and much easier to transport. You want to get rid of fentanyl, stop the drug war and the militarization of the border. Then, smart businesses will stop supplying fentanyl. There has never been a terrorist attack via entry into our Southern Border. You know why? There are a variety of reasons. Most notably, a smart terrorist group doesn't send a "known terrorist" to commit a terrorist attack in the US. They send an unknown one. And entry is much easier utilizing a tourist entry system through an airport for such a person. Entry via the Southern Border increases the risk of capture for very little benefit. Lol, what? Are you talking a military invasion? Like we wouldn't notice tanks rolling through the Southern Border unless we have a highly militarized border? Or is this a Canadian Bacon-style threat from the movie (90% of Canadians have been amassed on the border ready to invade at a moment's notice because of the open border!). That sounds like the dumbest policy possible. Let's attempt to transport prisoners through multiple countries and dump that at the border so that some of them will get in while others will be caught and shipped back outside of our custody? Or, alternatively, let's just let them loose on the promise to go to the US, based on the word of people known to always be honest (people currently incarcerated). Yeah, that sounds real. You don't seem to be utilizing it given this post. This seems more like watching too much TV and not using common sense to think about how people actually act.
Suuuuuuure. The country is coming undone by brown skinned folks who commit very few crimes in an era of historically low crime. First, it would take me or anyone else 24/7 to "comfort" every individual or group who suffers evil acts. Sadly, it's pervasive and ongoing. But I would never try to justify someone's loss or suffering by saying well fewer crimes are committed by brown skinned folks and at least crime is down. So, in other words don't get in a tizzy if a few of you are raped, or murdered, or beaten up.

Ours are not policed, millions have crossed over with little or no vetting. We have no idea where many of the children who are parentless have gone within this country. To believe we have policed or vetted these vast numbers of crossers I like saying Biden is fully with it.

How about evil people with evil intent. How many murders/deaths occur by sane people vs criminals or people filled with hate? Take away guns won't stop murders or deaths, people will find other ways.
