This Biden drama escalated with his debate performance. Who knew his debate performance would be so much worse than his speeches? Now it’s a unique situation that has no roadmap. Apparently life means very little to you for this kind of response. Drug trafficking, sex trafficking, rapes, murder, crime is hilarious to you. Securing the boarder could eliminate a lot of this but with little to no boarder control misery follows. But without a belief in God of the Bible, you have no moral compass. I often wonder why people with very strong positions in favor of big government regulations on immigration always spell it "boarder." In fact, the stronger the position, the more likely the spelling. Seems very fitting of people who are very confident that they understand and issue that they don't. Regardless, the bible does not say "secure the border." That is just an in-group/out-group issue, not one that is based in Christian morality. Also, be careful assuming that other people don't have a moral compass because they disagree with you. That is a pretty heavy amount of pride.
I don't think the GOP sees Trump as the savior. I do think they're playing the political winds. Trump's base is so tight they can't bust it up. At least the GOP are smart enough to see the writing on the wall. If you stand in the people's way, it won't end well. The Dems should have read the writing on the wall with Biden also. When 2/3's of the party was already saying they'd prefer a different nominee, they doubled down on Biden.

Can you not put yourself in the shoes of a son or daughter who has been murdered by an illegal immigrant? And when terrorist who have gotten through do who knows what will you not be concerned? The fact is we live in a fallen world and we will not be able to stop evil acts, citizen or non citizen will do evil acts. The big difference here is we have a boarder for a reason and part of that is to protect our citizens from being harmed by individuals who are not vetted and who are not to be here. The Bible clarifies that those who build their nation (or empire) on a set of godly values are not obliged to welcome those with a set of opposing values that would overthrow or undo their faith. In the ancient world, sacred texts show that countries or empires had borders and recognised citizens, non-citizens, visitors and resident aliens. Each people acknowledged the importance of obtaining permission to reside in a foreign land, and understood the rights and responsibilities of living in someone else’s nation. So, would you advocate sex trafficking from illegal aliens coming through our BORDER? Would you advocate criminals bringing tons of fentanyl across our BORDER? Should a nation not permit known terrorist coming through our BORDER? What if an enemy nation wanted to destroy our country and we have an open BORDER, are you ok with that? What if nations want to empty their prisons with harden criminals in our country, you ok with that? I think God has given us common sense to make prudent decisions yet when we for whatever reason choose not to use it, well we are now seeing the results.
