    I thought the defense's closing arguments were very well done. Admittedly, I didn't watch every second of the trial, but from what I've followed, I don't see anything pointing to that she did it without a reasonable doubt. There's reasonable doubt galore, imo.

    I find NO ONE, is EVER, squeaky clean, especially when it comes to crime.

    I have seen no testimony and just read the press stories but from them is it any surprise that the jury couldn’t convict. Why any un corroborated testimony from police is still trusted confuses me.

    Michael Proctor relieved of duty, state police say after Karen Read mistrial – NBC Boston

    "Upon learning today's result, the Department took immediate action to relieve Trooper Michael Proctor of duty and formally transfer him out of the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office State Police Detective's Unit," Col. John Mawn, interim superintendent of the Massachusetts State Police, wrote in a statement. "This follows our previous decision to open an internal affairs investigation after information about serious misconduct emerged in testimony at the trial. This investigation is ongoing."
