First thing I thought when he said that was, of course he knows how to tell the truth, he just doesn’t practice doing it very often. I’m not convinced he is any better with the truth than Trump. And recently he apparently just reads whatever is on the teleprompter whether or not he understands it or believes it. So many of Trump’s lies are just stupid narcissistic bravado that I don’t accept those dumbass statements as doing anything other than showing what a jerk he is. He is full of crap but can maintain some plausible deniability for some lies due to his constant off the cuff bragging. Making stuff up about crowd sizes, personal brilliance, and talking with certitude about things likely well out of his mental grasp is bad, but no worse than lying about class ranking or golf handicap or a million Amtrak miles or never talking with family about suspect business dealings.
Nobody is "going" to Trump's side at this point. People may stay home, but Trump's support is just his hardcore cult at this point. Undecideds aren't deciding between Trump and Biden. They're deciding if they want to vote for Biden or stay home. Trump's support is what it is.
Cross that bridge when we get there verse discuss what we see happening in front of our eyes in real time right now? To be honest if Trump is the president him getting dementia may not be a bad thing.. and yeah if it was this obvious I’d be asking for him to step down asap.
Maybe But I’ve seen more than one report/interview of people who were Biden supporters starting to think about voting Trump. Right or wrong it’s out there.

I doubt it. Most people think Trump is a threat to democracy. Voting against him is patriotic regardless of Biden’s crappy performance. However Joe isn’t making it easy.
Agree in principle however as I’ve said if the Dems put forth a guy who could walk and chew gum at the same time while claiming “we defeated medicare” it would be game over for Trump..

I didn't think to watch SNL last night. They could have one hell of a skit about the debate, but I can understand if they didn't touch it. Just too damn cruel.
I’ll admit I tuned into see the train wreck. And I’m no fan of Biden or Trump. But by the end it just wasn’t funny. It was sad. Sad for Biden. Sad for our country .I mean this is what we choose from? It’s not like Trump is young. He may well be drooling in his coffee in 4 years as well. It’s sad that the DNC try to hide Biden and his decline. He isn’t sharp. He isn’t engaged. He isn’t aggressive. He’s an old grandpa. And it’s sad that the RNC shoves Trump down our throats. Both parties clearly don’t give a damn about the country.. just their own power and whatever it takes to win. I just think DNC missed that mark badly with Biden.
It's not how many hours you spend working at a job that requires thinking, it's how many useful thoughts you are having during the workday. Biden absolutely owns Trump in the number of useful thoughts he has during an average day, and I say that without knowing how many useful thoughts that Biden has every day. Trump recently came out against electric airplanes, because what happens when the sun isn't shining while you're up in the air? It was pointed out to him that, through the magic of batteries, electricity can work in the dark. You may argue whether this is more or less idiotic than his idea to inject bleach to fight Covid, but it is nearly impossible to argue that either idea is not idiotic. I think you have to vote Biden simply based on the fact that he lets his handlers edit out the imbecilic things from his speeches and Trump does not. And that's if you are opposed to the idea of voting for the candidate who is not a convicted felon, certified rapist and renowned liar. Some people don't mind being conned, I guess. I actually vastly preferred Trump not working when he was President. As long as Trump is the standard bearer of your party, it's just humorous to watch y'all throw around these sorts of allegations.
