While you may very well be right keep in mind that the votes of those "idiots" count just as much as the votes of those voters who are well informed and well versed on the issues or those voters who worship Donald Trump as if he were the leader of a cult. All votes count equally. Also keep in mind and even though they may represent a small percentage of the electorate the relative performances of Trump and Biden may very well have persuaded those voters who believe that an unhinged pathological liar who is self-assured and confident represents the better alternative to an opponent who appears dazed, confused and cognitively diminished.

No argument there, I just think it's very hard to use focus groups and polls to figure out what those 1% idiots think or how sway-able they are from week to week. Seems like at lot of time, money and effort wasted on a select few who will ultimately decide our fate.

I'm also a big fan of limits on voting for the cognitively impaired. Some folks don't like that, but we do it for children and felons, why not the mentally impaired, low IQ below 80 (and most extreme left and right voters) and elderly? Based on the criteria above, Trump and Biden shouldn't be able to vote for themselves lol.

Bottom line, both parties are shit right now and need new blood,.literally. Stop putting geriatrics in for nominees and I might actually vote for one of them.

There were plenty of fact checkers assigned to the debate, but all we have heard from is dems saying he lied during the debate, why not the fact checkers? Could it be because he never lied enough to call him out for it? Think about that, then respond accordingly!

I think the issue was moreso that hardly any “facts” at all were discussed by either person.

I appreciate the link, but have no intention to pay NY Times a fee to look at it, care to capsulize it? I have a feeling they both exaggerated every point they made, which both parties have done since time began.

It's a free link. Both are checked. Trump more so than Biden.

This woman is straight up evil. He has a look like "please just let me out of this race." She won't let him. This is elder abuse.

Biden should drop out, it would be a unique legacy. He stewarded the country through the Trump travesty. And then made a singular sacrifice, giving up ultimate power.

If he doesn’t, that negates the legacy, IMO.

He will lose to the exact danger he averted. And now it’s worse.

I tried again multiple times, but it kept asking me to subscribe, so I was only able to read a few. That said, it appeared that most "lies" were just exaggerations, which all politicians do, so don't be naive about it.

Actually, the adjudicated rapist that owes millions to one of his accusers, convicted felon and coup organizer should drop out. Actually, he shouldn't be able to run but our founding fathers never envisioned anyone supporting such a person so no guardrail was built.

She talks to him like he's a kid. The same way my mother talked to her mother as she was battling Alzheimers and dementia. You almost have to with people in that condition. Her tone and her words were very revealing. All the while he's just standing there like "where the hell am I?"
