As I have grown older, I've come to understand that many humans want to be fed a narrative. They want to be lied to. In some respects, if they were being honest, they would tell you life is easier that way. None of us are immune to it. I've been guilty of it myself before. The main issue I have are the people who knew and at some stage decided everybody else was going to be too stupid to notice. The inner circle who tried to slip it by are the ones you should be worried about. First person that comes to mind is Obama. Why is he on X trying to sell us on Biden still? He thinks we're stupid. I used to respect Obama. Why is he pushing someone who's clearly not fit to serve? Obama loves himself; not the country.
@swampbabe Why the come on man? Did I not hear Biden right the other night? Did he not say Trump told Putin while in office go ahead and take Ukraine? I’m 99% sure Biden said Trump had a meeting with Putin and told him go ahead and take it. Was this some secret meeting after Trump was out of office, or some other delusion? Putin didn’t expect Biden to win. Biden did a poor job on Thursday, no doubt. To be honest though, I’m more disappointed that so many posters/voters just let Trump hit them with a firehose of lies and bullshit.

I’ll assume they were complicit but I gotta be honest I don’t watch the news. I haven’t had a news channel of any sort on in my home since election night. I’ve NEVER watched msnbc. I will say this - I took republicans screaming about this as a sort boy who cried wolf situation. This was the same war cry in 2020 leading up to Biden’s victory. All we heard about was how senile he was and how his debate would be a disaster and then he absolutely wiped the floor with Trump in each of the debates. So I incorrectly assumed all the bellyaching about his decline was just more of the same tired rhetoric. Turns out it wasn’t. He’s clearly diminished considerably in the last 4 years. But that’s why I never took any of you righties on here seriously the last couple years. Just sort of an FYI.

A couple that you are arguing with are never-Trump conservatives. Your candidate was dreadful. Unfit to be POTUS by any rational account. CNN has historically and continues to be (by real numbers) a network overwhelmed by democratic registered on air personalities and producers. They should not even it out by seeking Republicans. They should even it out by finding more Anderson Cooper's (embellished hurricane reporting notwithstanding )who have a history of fair and honest reporting regardless of ideology. Splitting commentary among two opposing groups isn't news and it isnt really better

Biden suggested that. If that was the case why did Putin wait 2 years into Biden’s term to do it? Seems like just Biden making crap up and the left choosing to ignore it, I guess because they know Biden has always “accidentally” gotten timelines and facts screwed up. Christians don't murder babies or defend those who murder babies. Biden was rightfully denied communion by a Catholic priest in South Carolina over this. It is your choice to vote for Biden, but don't be deluded that there is anything Christian about the man. There is not. He and his party have blood guilt on their hands, a blood guilt that will require a reckoning one day. No wise person would lift a finger to have any degree of involvement in that.
