No doubt that Trump is the odds on favorite at this point. That debacle the other night felt like an inflection point. I don't see Biden coming back from that and if the D party replaces him, even that would be a tall order to win in November. Five months is not as long as it sounds.

 

I don’t think this thing matters one iota to this election as far as changing anyone’s vote.

But if merely discussing this is “twisting anything” to make Trump look bad, here’s a challenge to you:

Please define a “black job”.

Please explain where illegal immigrants are taking “black jobs”.

Here's a good article from the Libertarian CATO Institute on why immigrants don't take citizen jobs. Too many people believe in the "lump of labor fallacy," which is a false belief the number of jobs in a country is fixed. But that's far from true.

Imagine a town that relies on migrant labor that swells in size during harvest season. Local markets depend on these migrants and without them, the local stores would have less revenue, and maybe less need for employees. And could possibly close altogether.

The majority of undocumented immigrants never finished high school. If the citizen does, they will likely have a lot more, better paying job prospects.

 

Yeah, I heard they even brought Disgraced Dan Rather out of retirement for this election authenticate documents.

Personally, I prefer a great job market, low inflation, low interest rates, real wage growth, controlled ILLEGAL immigration, no wars, re-building the military, strangling Iran, and keeping China in check than 20% increase in prices, 100%+ increase in interest rates, two major regional wars, Russian warships in Havana, Iran tossing around billions to anyone willing to blow things up, and an open border.
