    According to Senator Tuberville, the deep state is running the country:

    Friday, following what most deemed a lousy debate performance from President Joe Biden, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) said the key takeaway was that Biden is not running the country. According to Alabama’s senior U.S. Senator, the so-called deep state was running the country.

    “You never knew how bad it was going to be, but it couldn’t have been worse for Joe Biden,” he said during an interview with Mobile, AL radio’s FM Talk 106.5. “But, you know, the big loser last night, Jeff, was the American people. American people have finally found out what’s been going on for the last three-and-a-half, four years. Somebody behind the scenes like the Obamas, the Clintons, Schumer and Pelosi, they’re running our country and Joe Biden has been a puppet president. He’s the same as he’s been. He’s gotten a little bit worse, but it was a disaster.”

    This likely explains why the US policy towards Israel has changed to support of terrorism and antisemitic betrayal in Israel's time of need. I know Biden needs to win Michigan voters, but antisemitic rioters have been allowed to run wild attacking others and causing property damage without so much as a slap on the wrist.

    The Office of the President for Dictator Biden has been revealed to the American people. The unelected deep state is running our nation.

    I personally dislike the phrase “deep state.” The existence of it is as provable as “white supremacy” is. Both lay an unfalsifiable interpretive grid over reality.

    Nonetheless, I do have a hard time believing Biden is running the country. That point is valid.

    His closest Israel advisers in the White House are known to have antisemitic backgrounds. This, besides the Michigan vote, helps to explain why Biden is supporting terrorists while allowing the US government to take antisemitic position for the first time in US/Israeli history.

    Netanyahu's speech in congress in a few weeks should be a lot of fun. Many democrats have already announced they will not be attending the speech.

    So which is it? Biden is and has been all along a nursing home patient who doesn't know what day it is or he is an evil genius weaponizing the doj and somehow getting state prosecutors to do his bidding to target the orange guy. Do you flip a coin when your conspiracies contradict each other? or does it involve chicken bones?

    The “deep state” is basically the professionals working in their agencies, under the direction of political appointments who were appointed by the President and (generally) confirmed by the Senate.

    The right wing apparantly hates the idea of professionals, don’t comprehend the purpose of civil servant protections. They want all agencies and all of government to go straight to the political lackeys. All hires to be political cronyism rather than merit based. Smells like communism to me.
