The truth is people like Joe Scarborough and all the rest of them… Joy, Rachel, etc. etc. they ALL knew. They are acting surprised because they don’t want to be accused of lying. You remember Scarborough saying…. “FU….. this is the best version.” Lulz……..beyond the pale… They would rather lie than see DJT elected. Personally, and I have said this before, a man in his condition should not be put in the situation. We are all going to be there one day. He should be enjoying his last days with his family and grandchildren. I don’t give a damn about the political affiliation. It’s sad to see. If he really has that bad of a cold, you really going to send him out to the waffle house that time of night? Okee….. you are finally wising up. Literally hundreds of posts claiming he was sharper than DJT. They knew too. Imagine the hundreds and hundreds of hours wasted defending a false narrative. As CONTRA just said…a true psychological observation study indeed….
Those posters knew too. And they'll do it again. If they can justify it in their minds somehow, they will do it again. But there's really no way to justify pushing a man who's obviously in severe decline to be the POTUS for another 4 years. No matter which party you subscribe to, the ramifications of such a scenario are more than likely catastrophic. It's as unconstitutional as it gets, because you know somebody else is running the country. (likely an unelected official)
We know the liberal-progressive media has been covering it up, because the conservative press has been talking about it for years. It's pretty scary that they were so hellbent on pushing this guy through another 4 years.
I was going to say, in the short clip I saw of the NC rally, you could see the teleprompter he was reading. And he paused with a grin after reading, "I know I'm not a young man." What a wild and crazy guy!
When the report came out and said that Biden was an old man with a bad memory (paraphrased) the democrats rallied around and circled the wagons. MSM has long ago strayed from doing real journalism. They are spoon fed info and they lap it up “Sharp as a tack” “Energetic” “Engaged” Etc…. They were propping Bernie up and helping him wave his hands (metaphorically speaking). And anyone with two eyes has seen his decline. For a while now his handlers have not wanted him speaking because he says stuff off the cuff that they have to walk back or spin. The “cheap fakes” narrative was proven to be very very real. Keep in mind, Biden locked himself away with his prep team for 10 days at Camp David preparing for that colossal mess of a debate. Yeah. They knew. So did the WH staff. But it was easier and safer to play along like the emperor had on some fine robes…
In Anarchy, State, and Utopia, philosopher Robert Nozick contrasts “invisible hand” type theories with “hidden hand” type theories. Invisible hand theories explain most of the outcomes of the world as organically emerging through human action but not human design (to borrow Adam Ferguson’s words). Hidden hand theories meanwhile explain outcomes as a result of intentional desires of particular people. Im an invisible hander, so I do not think that all of mainstream media got together and decided to burn any tapes demonstrating Biden’s decline. Nor do I think they call Biden’s administration and ask for instructions. Nor do I think they purposely filmed him in such a way to hide his faults. There is of course a group hoping to do all of that, which is his administration. I realize that an invisible hand outlook appears crazy to someone with a hidden hand outlook, but this is no evidence for anything, as the reverse is also true. I never am convinced when I read that “the media” is trying to perform a particular action because I don’t even believe that such an entity as “the media” exists. Other examples include people explaining what “old white men” are doing, as if all old white men are in some kind of a club with each other. If they were, Biden and Trump would have been in it together, along with Billy Graham, Ozzy Osborne, and Mr. Rogers. It’s just not a real group, and neither is the media.
The question is did “the press” cover for him, and I don’t think they did. Obviously you have a few cheerleaders like Scarborough, but that’s not “the press” anymore than a Hannity or a Tucker. Did his “handlers” cover him? Possible. That is their job, certainly the ones that have to come out and spin. But if the internal WH advisors truly were covering for him or thought him to be incapacitated (in an actual way) they never would have agreed to debate. I don’t think Biden is “incapacitated” per se, but it basically it’s political malfeasance for him to have presented himself like that (or for his advisors to have allowed it). It would definitely have been interesting to be a fly on the wall during their mock debates. I do find it amusing the Trumpers are all about the 25th amendment now.
Any yet, Biden looked and sounded fine yesterday here in North Carolina. He had no mental acuity issues, though sounded like an 80+ year old man is likely to sound. I love how the Repubi-ban are on the attack, completely ignoring the fact that Trump cannot open his mouth without lying, or making things up based upon his delusion. If an honest conservative wanted to meet in the middle and agree both candidates were trash, then that would be a discussion worth having. Until one appears, this is nothing but one side attacking the other's candidate because....well, both candidates deserve to be attacked.
Both Trump and Biden have cognitive concerns. I trust the people who surround Biden then the MTGs that surround Trump. I would vote for Biden if he was on life support over a vote for Trump
I could see leaning to your line of thinking if the media had a history of unbiased reporting of D’s and R’s. We all must acknowledge that legacy media leans left. We can debate the degree of bias but not the bias itself . To me, not questioning the obvious is basically the same as covering up. Plausible deniability is the same as covering up. Remember the cocaine incident at the White House? Why was that allowed to drop? Their is no way in hell that the person that cocaine belonged to either isn’t known or couldn’t have been known.

How many times has Trump been accused of something...and then later we find out it was not true or super embellished with a kernel of truth (he said the words) taken completely out of context? How many times has Biden been accused of something...and later we find out it was not true? Never! Exactly the opposite - things surrounding Biden (like cognitive decline) are denied, laughed at, blocked by social media and then Voila! they turn out to be true. If MSM had "balance" there would be mistakes on both sides of the aisle. There are not. Political reporting in the USA is "heads I win, tails you lose".
Weird because it isn’t only trumpers calling for Biden to step aside due to his lack of mental acuity. It’s been many many Democratic pundits… unless they have become trumpets as well?
A few months ago I got into a debate with a poster here as he claimed he could diagnose Trump with dementia based on video evidence, curious what his diagnosis of Biden would be based on that hour of video Thursday night.
