I'm with doc. MH is a misnomer. Biden pretty much crushed today at the NC rally. Weird how weak he was last night. Must not have been any drug testing before/after today's rally .

Probably no absolute answer, but I voted yes because my guess is some certainly did. But I tend to believe most of the blame is on his handlers.

But of course some of them likely did.

By the way, Kudos to Anderson Cooper for calling it out last night btw. He had Kamala on the ropes.

 

I voted yes, but I’m not sure if it’s the media actively covering it up themselves or just being willing to unquestionably accept all the Biden surrogates swearing up and down that you should pay no attention to him doing weird stuff in public because he’s supposedly active, aware, and sharp as a tack behind closed doors.

 

I would say no, because it’s something that might not manifest itself outside of that type of situation.

I’m sure they can see him struggling sometimes with the public speaking, which is why he doesn’t do many interviews. But that isn’t exactly secret.

In casual situations I’m guessing he might not have raised such alarm bells even to his close advisors. But I’d bet there was some “oh shit” while they were doing debate prep (either that or they were incompetent or too casual about how he would come off).

 

If so, then how do explain the times he hasn't looked like a nursing home patient. e.g, state of the union or his speech in NC today?

I'm not going to read the rest of the thread. If there are people here actually attempting to debate they didn't cover for him, I don't want to spend my valuable free time arguing with those people. I assume we're talking about the same "media" who are paid tens of thousands of dollars (in many cases more) to observe the POTUS and they didn't know what we amateurs who don't have any access have known for years?
