The point is, simply, you would have never known this on your own if somebody didn't introduce you to a way to understand it. Still, these things are not as finite as you think. Things like how to lay a child down to sleep has changed over the years and may continue to change going forward. The math of compound returns is a proven fact, but the ethics are always subject to debate.

This is a fair take; no objections.

I think "leave them be" is the part that I take issue with. Introducing somebody to an idea is not as finite as either a 0 or a 1. Presumably, you are talking about only the most forceful pressures involved with such an introduction, and if so, that's fine...just looking for clarification. But what if you are in the presence of somebody asking questions about another's faith. Should you be forced to leave if you don't want to hear it or would you expect the person being asked to not share because that person can't be said to know that all others around the person want to hear such a message. Are you ok with less forceful outward expressions that can lead people to ask questions if they have them?

On campus, JWs are frequently set up with tables; they'll great people that pass by, but they really don't say anything to you about why they are there unless you ask them. Is that reasonable in the context of "leave them be" or is that still too invasive in your book?

I'm not sure that atheists don't mock Christians with at least as much frequency as Christians try to encourage non-Christians to seek God. Maybe regional bias in your area vs mine might impact that. I suspect that MOST Christians don't try too hard to share their views with folks who might not be willing to receive them just as MOST atheists likely don't take up much time trying to convince Christians that their views are not falsifiable and that is problematic. We see the extreme takes, and that's too often what we use to classify others who might otherwise share a similar label.

If Americans who considered themselves Christians actually obeyed Jesus’ “Great Commission”, Matthew 28:18-20, you secular types would be longing for the day that all you had to endure was Old Testament inscriptions that don’t approach and talk to you.

Shouldn’t it be SMHH? Not sure that Christ can necessarily have a “damned head.”

Just for purposes of clarity are you referring to public school classrooms in the United States of America, the country with that curious document called the "Constitution?"

And would that be with or without scoring Trump on them?

Score trump against the constitution, or the 10 commandments? He would flunk both, and quite badly.

There is likely some confusion among those who did not see them as the banned jesusc's 5 or 6 posts have been deleted from the forum's threads where posted.
