Predict It: Betting on the Trump-Biden debate

As pointed out in the article, people crossing away from legal checkpoints are actually more likely to be searched than a person crossing with drugs at a legal checkpoint.

 

So.......who will be facing Trump in the September debate? Too soon?

Everyone is beating the drum hard of “how can Joe Biden possibly continue as a candidate,” and Trump insisted the only reason he’s running is how terrible Joe Biden is.

So let’s replace Joe and then, according to Trump, he’d have no reason to be running for president and would rather be sitting at a golf course, so we can go ahead and replace him too.

It's also much easier to conceal illegal drugs in legal cargoes. I recall a seizure involving a couple of boxes of cocaine that were packed in a truck with hundreds of boxes of canned chili. Fentanyl is undoubtedly smuggled using a similar technique. Even if Trump significantly increased the size of the Border Patrol and deployed military units to the border to interdict crossings by illegal aliens fentanyl would still continued to be smuggled through legal ports of entry at the same rate that it has been unless the screening of legal cargoes is substantially increased.

That's a good way of putting it. What I meant was overall it's a loss for both in that neither side is going to budge on how they were going to vote. Dems thought Trump was a crazy liar with no substance and Pubs were thinking Biden is a ghost.

We're too deep into it, that's why I said the American people lost overall.

Not really. We have a ton of methods for estimating got aways. If it was close, you could argue on the margins about different methods, but it is like an order of magnitude off.
