FYI In 2021, U.S. citizens were 86.3 percent of convicted fentanyl drug traffickers—ten times greater than convictions of illegal immigrants for the same offense. Over 90 percent of fentanyl seizures occur at legal crossing points or interior vehicle checkpoints, not on illegal migration routes, so U.S. citizens (who are subject to less scrutiny) when crossing legally are the best smugglers. Hate to say it, Biden should graciously announce that he has reconsidered and will not seek a second term. After his performance this evening he significantly increased the possibility that the greatest criminal con man in American history will end up serving a second term as president.
Doesn’t it only make sense most seizures occur at legal crossing points? That where we have the majority of manpower to search? And obviously illegals smuggling drugs aren’t going to go through a legal check point so they aren’t gonna get caught and charged.
I can’t stand Trump, but he won this in a landslide largely by default. People who already hate Trump aren’t going to suddenly start liking him because of this, but simply “not an absolute trainwreck” was all it took for him to be the winner here. Edit: if you don’t believe me, listen to CNN’s analysis. There’s a reason both of the first two speakers have been saying “game changer,” “absolute panic amongst Democrats,” and “incoherent.”
