I am assuming there is a bag of money already waiting for them in Austin.

Clearly, he didn't want to be asked that question, because he didn't want to tell the truth.

Kent, Schott and a couple of other guys also. Basically gutted their roster.

Of course they may stay once the Aggies take some other school's coach. The chain reaction begins. Thankfully the Gators arent involved.

Coaches bailing a day after they deny interest has been going on for a long time. I can recall 2 Miami head football coaches bailing right after their recruiting classes were signed. This is why I have no issue with the players being able to transfer also.

I believe the Texas AD Del Conte is a good friend from their TCU days. Maybe just personal preference. He might also like Austin better than College Station, which I can certainly understand.

Very true.... .for now. They love him.

However, let him have a couple of mediocre seasons where the Vols dont get out of a regional or even worse dont make the post season and then see the fan reaction. The bar was set pretty low when he came in so all great now, but he has significantly raised expectations going forward. The nature of sports, what have you done for me lately.

While I agree with this it take it reminds me far too much of how some of our fans reacted earlier this season when our team wasn’t looking or playing so great….smh.

Between Delmonico and Vitello(10 years) the were sub 500 7 times. won 30+ only twice, best year being 31- 23. Theyve had 6 winning sec records in last 25 years.. TV has 4 of them.

The state did adjust their out of state requirements shortly before TV arrived., similar to state of Miss. And something Alabama hasnt & will never do. Like Bama & AU, they went from top of hill in 90s to bottom in blink of eye.. Im still told thats just a coincidence though..lolol

The only 2 SEC players in HoF, played sec baseball on football scholarships.

And that's why I'd prefer it, but that's just me.
Not a fan of college station. Understand that others disagree tho.

Actually A&M lost the CWS because of the bonehead move the ex-coach made in Game 2 that would have seen them sweep Tennessee.

If there is an opening at any P5 school that appreciates baseball isn't that automatic and required D1? Texas fired and hired so quick that he didn't get a chance to add Sully to that list!

Guess he would have a chance to introduce himself to the a&m fans who went down to heckle him in the dugout.
