Nope, disagree. Look how DC, surrounding DC, and northern Virginia vote. Were you the leader of the applause when the NSC's Alexander Vindman, first a whistleblower who must be believed, was used to start up impeachment of Trump 45 because Trump made decision he didn't like? How about Anonymous with his letter promoting deep state insurrection, yes real insurrection? It is totally like democrats to trash conservative whistleblowers while saying liberal whistleblowers must be believed and protected.
Yes, for the majority of the time. It took a Trump conviction in the sham New York case for the senate to announce they would no longer work with any democrat proposals. Somehow with Mitch McConnell still leading the minority, I'll have to see if this holds to believe it. Heck, they've already given away everything Biden wanted anyway.
You realize that we know who Anonymous was and he wasn't a career employee but rather a Trump political appointee, right?
Trump appointees are just deep state too, don'tcha know? At least once they turn bad they are. Just look at all those terrible generals Trump appointed. In his own words, he appointed some of the worst generals in history. They were all really really deep state.
Announce an investigation into my political opponent or I won't release approved aid = "decision he didn't like" smh
The top 20 or so people in most federal agencies are political appointees that get replaced with every new president anyways.
You realize what he purported to be the face of, and he wasn't known until well after he sent his letter.
Well, alrighty then, as deep as it takes to get the job done. We can get to lower home prices in northern Virginia as the supply of democrat homes flood the market and republicans pick them up at lower prices. Those homes have been owned too long by democrats. Time for turnover.
Trump stooges actually believe that THIS time he's got a plan for something... anything, maybe in two weeks, right after the tax reports are turned in or the Mexico check for the wall that hasn't been built shows up? Room temperature IQs cause serious delusional issues.
There are far more federal employees scattered across the US and the world than live in i few counties surrounding DC. Exiledgator gave some actual data so you and i dont have to give our opinions. Trust exiledgator, he’s gruntled. I had to refresh my memory but Vindman reported what he heard up his chain of command. Twice. He did it the way it was supposed to be done. Army Officer Who Heard Trump’s Ukraine Call Reported Concerns (Published 2019) Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman of the Army, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, twice registered internal objections about how Mr. Trump and his inner circle weretreating Ukraine, out of what he called a “sense of duty,” he plans to tell the inquiry, according to a draft of his opening statement obtained by The New York Times.
Private industry clients will be happy. The Trump-Barr DOJ was laughably incompetent. If he’s planning to hire a similar caliber of talent across the board, then would be the time to flaunt regulation.
Project 2025 - this wasn't started by Trump, wish he had. It was started in 2023 by the Heritage Foundation: Project 2025 | The Heritage Foundation The first pillar, the upcoming production of the policy book Mandate for Leadership, represents the work of more than 350 leading conservatives and outlines a vision of conservative success at each federal agency during the next administration. Presidential candidates won’t be able to ignore what the conservative movement demands in this book. The second is our online personnel database. This “Conservative LinkedIn” will launch in March and will provide an opportunity for rock-solid conservatives to place themselves in contention for roles in the next administration. This pillar will bring Mr. (and Mrs.) Smith to Washington. The third is our Presidential Administration Academy. When conservatives do finally make it into an administration, they often don’t know what to do or how to seize the gears of power effectively. Through their action, inaction, and their encyclopedic knowledge of volumes of technicalities about the federal workforce, certain career federal employees are masterful in tripping us up. Our interactive, on-demand training sessions will change that. They will turn future conservative political appointees into experts in governmental effectiveness. The fourth and final pillar of Project 2025 is our Playbook, which will take the policy ideas expressed in Mandate for Leadership and transform them into an implementation plan for each agency to advocate to the incoming administration. What regulations and executive orders must be signed on Day One? Where are the greatest needs for more political appointees? How can we effectively use the mechanisms of government to face our most challenging problems? Our Playbook will put our movement to work answering questions like these. Project 2025 Reaches 100 Coalition Partners, Continues to Grow in Preparation for Next President | The Heritage Foundation Up to 100 coalition partners as of January 2024. To see the partners, go to the article. Sometime back, I saw a Trump nuts and bolts plan on how he is going to dismantle the internet. Unfortunately, I can't find that today, just generalities: Issues | Donald J. Trump (donaldjtrump.com) President Donald J. Trump is committed to dismantling the deep state and restoring government by the People, just as he did during his administration. President Trump will conduct a top-to-bottom overhaul of the federal bureaucracies to clean out the rot and corruption of Washington D.C. President Trump will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on members of Congress, a permanent ban on taxpayer funding of campaigns, a lifetime ban on lobbying by former members of Congress and cabinet members, and a ban on members of Congress trading stocks with insider information. I can find plenty of lamestream media sources, but known that really no jack squat, see ABC in post #1. I'll keep looking. I will say I 100% approve of converting career federal workers status to politically appointed status which opens up the deep state to much needed reform. I did not know of Project 2025 until today. Kudos to the Heritage Foundation for starting this process more the 2 years ago.
I believe the wording he used was a "resistance within the administration." Again, that is the political appointees. So your argument is to get rid of resistance within political appointees by getting rid of career employees and replacing them with political employees. Pretty standard lack of logic there.
Yes, creating equal quantity demanded as you increase amount supplied is the way to get prices to go down in a market without outside options. That is totally how economics work.
