Disney Will Not Hire White Males And Their Tactics

I can't speak to what's happening within Disney, but I've worked my entire career in corporate america, complete with all the DEI goals/objectives you would expect, and I can report that white males are doing just fine still. Have not seen a single example where a clear cut best candidate white male was passed over for someone less qualified.

That being said, could there be someone within the company who thinks they were the best qualified and got passed over for a minority? I'm sure there are people who think that, but the reality is that those people tend to have a higher opinion of themselves than how others see them.

Girlfriend. I don't know how old you are, but I remember my first job at a bank and a guy who was working part time as a college student (made more money than me too) told me that the VP told him no woman would ever have a job higher than branch manager. I give ZERO $#@) about this.

 

That kind of blatant discrimination was then, and is still is now, wrong... so now it's okay to discriminate?

 

Sure their CEO is a white male and has power and authority over the entire company and its projects, but if you cant tell a guest they are too tall to ride the tea cups, what power do you actually have?

 

Sadly there are no white males on the executive team at Walt Disney… except for more than half of them.

And for the record, my parents both retired from Disney and there is nothing abnormal about them, me on the other hand....
