My new dentist is actually a girlboss operation. I don't think a single man works there, instead of Fox News on the TV, they always have one of those home buying/flipping TV shows on, there are inspiring posters on the walls. Its a terrifying vision of the future Hillary Clinton promised.

Yeah, mine used to complain about how 'crushing' taxes were and also talk about the yacht he just bought. He was a big Ohio State booster, and the only time I looked forward to the dentist was after the 2006 championship and I could rib him mercilessly. He wasnt a bad guy, we mostly talked sports.
I mean - no one ever thinks, "I want to spend my life digging in the diseased mouths of strangers." They think, "What can I do to make me filthy rich so I can by lots of superfluous crap." Orthodontist are just slightly more motivated versions of the same person. I don't mean to cast aspersions on the overall field, but it shouldn't surprise anyone that on a whole, these are anything-for-lower-taxes Americans.
Yeah, the hygienists do all the work, who knows what the dentist is even doing before he comes around, pokes your teeth a couple of times with that pointy thing and leaves? I assume trying to decide the color of his next Mercedes or setting up recurring donations to the RNC.
