When I was a kid playing baseball, we always said, on throws to first base or any base, that "tie goes to the runner." Is that actually a rule, or was it just kids making stuff up?

Dang, I thought that one wasn't hit as well as the one Mikey caught. Just split the outfield in the only spot nobody could get to it.

 

His hit was a nice bunt to go with 4 strikeouts. And he's struck out twice tonight. Awful day, especially for a 3-hole hitter in the situation's he's come up in.

Jameson has about reached his limit, IMO. Giving it all he's got and he's been really good. It hurt bad that Peterson walked 4 of the first 5 batters and had to come out so early. We've simply got to get the offense going. Too many K's once again. Still plenty of time to come back.

It was a really good RBI bunt. But 6 K's his other times up. We need our #3 batter to be much better.
