Do we have to win as much as Auburn or just get a bigger check?

If both teams finish with an 8-4 record, a player deciding between the two would need to weigh their priorities between financial benefits and the overall environment or "family feel."

    Money:
    - Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL)
    - Financial Support
    - Future Earning Potential
    - Opportunities: Consider which program offers better NIL

    Family Feel:
    - Team Culture
    - Coaching Staff
    - Community Engagement

    Decision Factors
    -Immediate Needs vs. Long-Term Benefits
    -Personal Values and Goals
    -Program Reputation and Fit
    -Early Playing Time

Ultimately, the decision comes down to what the player values more and how they envision their college experience contributing to their overall goals and well-being.

Guess we’ll know his thought process soon enough, if we win.

If the difference in money is significant, money will win out more often than not.

While I don’t disagree, it also depends on how much more he’s being offered. While big NIL offers are attractive and can be a major factor in decision-making, the on3 survey revealed that a substantial portion of recruits, 54% I believe, are willing to prioritize fit over money. This indicates that the right program environment, development opportunities, early playing time, and overall experience can outweigh purely financial considerations for many players.

    • Desired Financial Packages: The majority of top recruits are looking for financial packages in the range of $200,000 to $600,000, with a median of $400,000.
    • Willingness to Take Less for the Right Fit: 54% of recruits indicated they would accept a lower NIL offer if it meant a better overall fit with the program. This shows that more than half of the recruits value factors beyond just the financial package.
    • High-Value Offers: Five participants reported receiving offers over $1 million, indicating that significant financial incentives are available for top talent.

On3 didn’t interview everyone in the country, and you have to know that people will lie and say money isn’t the most important thing to them. Most people don’t want to believe something like that about themselves.

If you believe those 54% are telling the truth. It’s sounds good coming out of their mouths but how many women admit to being gold diggers

Fair point. The survey from On3 does have limitations. The issue of lying adds another layer of complexity. It raises questions about how effectively such behaviors can be detected or accounted for in data analysis. Not sure there is much Incentive to lie on the survey tho. One can be pretty honest without any repercussions. I’m prob giving them too much credit. NIL has changed things quite a bit.

I think some will just lie, and many more don’t want to believe that about themselves. All the data on NIL is bunk. Take it all with a grain of salt.

Let’s just do away with surveys all together then. Tell me, how would you improve the accuracy in the surveys?

I think these surveys are a complete waste of time. So yes, you can do away with them.

So you don’t think people lie on other surveys, Just these types?

Can’t tell ya how many employee surveys I’ve done. Surely employees lie. Does that make all surveys pointless? guess we should fire data analyst?

This conversation is about one particular player and how it may come down to family environment or feel vs a bag. That’s it. The data just shows that there is a chance, and trying to account for lies (assumption) is a whole other data entry. It’s unfair to the player to assume his character is in question, and that he may be a liar. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think most surveys are a waste of time, and generally refuse to participate. I think this particular survey is a bigger waste of time than most. This data generated here doesn’t improve or fix anything. You can fire the guy who thought it was a good idea if you want. His job was to generate clicks though, not produce useful info. He got your click, so maybe give him a raise?

Provided you can get reliable data,
Data analysis plays a pivotal role in achieving success.

    1. Informed Decision-Making
    2. Identifying Trends and Patterns
    3. Optimizing Operations
    4. Personalizing Customer Experience
    5. Measuring Performance
    6. Gaining Competitive Advantage
    7. Predictive Insights

I’m sure he’s earned his money already.

On3 is not trying to help the schools determine how to negotiate with athletes or help anyone but themselves be successful. Their goal is to generate clicks. This data is meaningless.

Don’t know. Maybe, maybe not. But the data includes him. The only thing we can’t measure is his character. Is he about the $ or will family feel and environment win out, if both Aub and UF finish 8-4.

Agree, but this was in regards to all surveys, since you thought most were a waste.

4th Industrial Revolution is no waste, sir.

So you accused me of attacking a players character and calling him a liar and you don’t even know if he participated in the survey or what his answers are? Lol, ok.

FTR, I’m not attacking anyone, other than maybe on3 whose main goal is to generate clicks and create controversy. People, in general, don’t want to be gold diggers. It’s natural for you to want to answer the question, “no, I’m not a gold digger” which is essentially what these kids are being asked.
