He has to get 2/3s of the states on board. Yes, I knew all of this. He can do this. He may need to strongarm or blackmail (for lack of a better term) some of the governors, but I think he can get it done. It’s important to lay the groundwork properly for DeSantis to take over in 2037.

In theory, my plan will have unified the country so well by then, DeSantis can abolish term limits with the states help and then DeSantis just serves until his death. He appears to be a health conscious person, so I suspect DeSantis could be president the until 2066 (at least) under that scenario. America will be great again if we do this. Trump and DeSantis can remove any and all progressive elements from our federal and state courts (with the help of compliant governors).

America will be great if we overthrow the government. Got it. I hope you’re a bot because you’d otherwise make a sad human who clearly hates America

Hey, at least he’s not pretending to be his own mother.

I don’t think he believes half of the garbage he posts, it’s performance theater, like the majority of the MAGA movement.

I'm not advocating that we overthrow the government. That's what Democrats tried to do with two impeachments. You really really have to hate America if you impeach her president not once, but TWICE and fail both times.

No, you just have to have a split house and Senate.

And impeachment follows a process. It’s the furthest thing from an overthrow, which is funny coming from the guy who condones appointing fake electors.

    Like I said, I think you’re a bot.

When did I propose fake electors? Why do you have to make up lies just to respond to me? Impeachment was never meant to be a party-line vote. The requirement for 2/3's of senators to vote to convict was so that impeachments wouldn't be brought unless it was a given that a conviction would follow. Otherwise, the founding fathers knew impeachment would only serve as an embarrassment to the country. You can make the same argument for Clinton's impeachment. It never should have been brought either.

I think you're a bot, as you're attributing things to me without any basis, which is something I could see a bot doing. Perhaps you have less than a triple-digit IQ.

If you're interested (which I doubt) you can click on the link below which contains a detailed analysis of the FAU poll.

Since you apparently do not trust Newsweek this is a direct link to Fox News describing their poll.

    2020: Biden +23
    Before Bronx: Biden +9
    After Bronx: Biden +7
    After Trump Effing: Biden +6

The polls are headed in the right direction, but + 6 is still too large for me to put NY in play just yet.

I do hope Trump continues to work New York City, he'll be there anyway, and to have a thank you rally out in the state to show appreciation for their support. Gaining more support from the undecided would be a big help. He won't get that without continuing to have an active campaign in New York.

    The Emerson Poll:

    New York 2024 Poll: Biden 48%, Trump 41% - Emerson Polling (emersoncollegepolling.com)

It's Biden +7 head-to-head, but with a full ballot, it drops to +6 Biden as Biden loses 3 points and Trump loses 2 points.

A new Emerson College Polling/The Hill/PIX11 survey of New York voters finds President Joe Biden with 48% support in the 2024 presidential election, while 41% support former President Donald Trump; 12% are undecided. When undecided voters are asked which candidate they lean toward, Biden’s lead increases to 10 points, 55% to 45%. With third-party candidates on the ballot, 44% support Biden, 38% Trump, 6% support Robert Kennedy Jr., 2% Cornel West, and 1% Jill Stein; 11% are undecided.

FYI the Emerson poll was conducted on May 28 and May 29th before the jury in Trump's trial issued its verdict. Trump has as much chance of carrying New York as Biden does of carrying Florida perhaps much less considering that the Florida polls showing Trump with a four percentage point lead over Biden were conducted more recently.

In a full ballot, it's Trump +7 which is in line with other polls showing Florida as red, but not deep red until the polls reaches +10.

Joe Biden Donald Trump Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Cornel West Jill Stein

    40%-------47%-----------7%---------------------2%----------1%

    Source: Fox News Poll
    Conducted: June 1-4, 2024
Florida Registered Voters +/- 3% Pts.

Looking at the 2-way Trump has slightly extended his lead over actual from 2020:

    2020 Actual Vote by %:

    Trump: 51.22%
    Biden: 47.86%
    Difference: 3.36%

    June 2024 Fox Poll:

    Trump: 50%
    Biden: 46%
    Difference: 4.00%

Fox also references the ongoing increased republican voter registrations.

You have to do a bit of digging on the FAU polling:

    Head-to Head All Voters:

    Trump: 46%
    Biden: 42%
    Difference: +4%

    Head-To Head Likely Voters:

    Trump: 49%
    Biden: 43%
    Difference: 6%

    Three-Way with RFK Jr.:

    All Voters:

    Trump: 43%
    Biden: 37%
    RFK Jr.: 10%
    Difference: +6%

    Likely Voters:

    Trump: 45%
    Biden: 40%
    RFK Jr.: 8 %
    Difference: 5%

I think the 3-way should have been 5-way to reflect the official ballot.

That's bad news for Biden as I've seen polls showing Trump getting an uptick after the NY Effing. Emerson could be south of 6% in their next poll.

Actually a majority of polls showed little change since the verdict. The jury issued its verdict on May 30.

Whether you agree with them or not (and you obviously do not) using a Constitutional process to remove a president from office who has acted unlawfully is not an attempt to overthrow the government. On the other hand, violently assaulting the Capitol in attempt to prevent the certification of the results of a free and fair election would certainly be be example of an attempt to overthrow the government.
