Couple of points. First, it's always OK to chomp almost any team, especially losing rivals and more especially losing noles. What is not OK is to mimic some other team's cheer, especially the nole chop and accompanying wordless fight song. Second, noles have been pounded for years by the Gators- a 30-8 run coming into this year, including one Gator 12-win streak. Their best year ever gets them back over 33% in that perion, haha. We have more than enough to chomp about for their painful loss to an SEC team. That doesn't mean I like Tn, just means they played noles.

 

For 74, I think it's important to recognize that the winning streak was 11 games (longest streak for either side in the series), and those were 11's last 11 vs. FLORIDA (with all due respect, and RIP, of course). 2016 Super (2 games), 2017, 2018, 2019 regular seasons (3 games each). I believe that 11th loss clinched a losing record for 11 against the GATORS. But all of it's fair game for discussion, including their national championships that we're still chasing.

True so far, and their pitching gets a rest, but it's the Vols so we will see.

If they win it all the Vitello love/hype will be over the top. Probably deserved considering their history but still would be incredibly annoying.

 

Watching Cats vs Aggies. Cats SP has what looks like 12” rawhide strings hanging off of his glove—Naw, not a fan….

I am listening to the national radio feed and it appears there is a Vandy Whistler wannabe in the crowd. I'm not sure if it can be heard on the tv broadcast

Gonna be hard to small ball their way back into this one.

We need to get on them early tomorrow and make them chase. That is not their game.

 

They have used 3 pitchers so far....

 

They are a very good team. They know how to win. Their game is to keep you down while they scratch across a run here and there. Having to chase from behind is not what they want to be doing though. Of course it’s not what anyone wants to do, but most of the teams in this tourney can put up crooked numbers in a hurry. KY is really not built to do that. You can’t really play small ball when you’re down 5.

 

They just got a run via HR...so 5-1 bottom of 9th with 2 outs
