2 great games today and 2 very different games. Love to see the Noles have their hearts ripped out!! Now I'll be a North Carolina and Virginia fan on Sunday.

 

I don’t like either team, but boy was that check swing close. As much as Vitello whines, if I’m the ump, I’m ringing the batter up and laughing as I walk off the field.

 

As much as I hate UT and their coach, FSU just must not win anything in baseball ever with how stuck up their players and junk fans are. I hope they get bounced immediately and then UNC/UVA bounces UT.

 

Yeah, I heard somewhere the first game is very important to win. Can't remember where I heard it......

 

To those who wanted the Noles to lose....that's fine. But I'd rather face them than Rocky Top. Thus I'd rather see Rocky Top go home in this series.

 

Obviously not a fan of either team but I thought FSU got screwed on the check swing call that went UT’s way down two in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and two strikes. I thought the Burke kid went around on the swing but the umpires said no and the next pitch was the game tying two run single.

Sloppy game defensively but blowing a three-run lead in the ninth is going to sting FSU for a while. By making three errors and walking nine FSU batters, the Vols did their best to hand the game over but the Noles wouldn’t take it.

 

Noles staff throws 200 pitches, Vols 175.....will be tough working from the losers bracket if they keep burning arms at that rate, even with the time off

 

I want them both to go home

I would agree that fsu got robbed with that check swing, which makes the loss all the more satisfying. Stings a little bit more.

 

Had a really hard time and early on even found myself rooting for FSU but as the game went on a lifetime of Nole disdain kicked and I enjoyed seeing them crushed. Since it was on ESPN+ I could watch it.

Tennessee's coach and players are easy to root against but we don't have to deal with their fans much here in Florida.

Fsu fans are insufferable already despite our dominance over them under Sully. They infiltrate Gator social media pages even when the subject matter isn't involving them. It's been miserable watching hated rivals win titles in football over the last several years as well as watching fsu and Miami basketball perform better than Florida many years (tide has turned with coach Golden) but baseball has been ours and it hasn't been close.

No way I want to see fsu win anything at all in baseball. Their resurgence is nauseating. Hate everything about that school.

 

I thought it was rather ironic that the final score was 12 to “11”…..

 

Since we were seated next to the SWAC dugout my grandson decided he would help them exit my chomping them as they entered the tunnel. They didn’t seem to appreciate his gesture.

 

I hate fsu as much as the next Gator, but didn’t they completely steamroll us this season 3 times? I don’t think we have much to chomp about when it comes to them this season haha
