Does anyone have an informed update on the status of Slater’s injury and a possible return to action?

 

Thinking about our game against the Cavs last year, and Wyatt's towering shot to tie it up. We thought we had it won at that, and it turns out we did.

I guess that was how Clempsun felt when their guy tied it up...so sad for them.

 

I missed it .. us old dumazz people can’t catch it .,I used to get it but I’m trending downward

 

Looking way back to mid March when we faced A&M, neither team had starting pitchers do well the first 2 games. For A&M, neither Prager or Jones made it out of the 3rd inning before giving up 5 to 6 runs. Florida had Fisher and Peterson each give up 6 runs, Fisher in 6 innings and Peterson in just 2+. Now its 3 months later and much has changed with Peterson.

The best pitchers for both teams in the first 2 games were Neely (going 3 innings, 1 hit, 3 SOs, and no runs), Jameson (1 inning, 1 walk, no runs), Satin (2 innings, no runs, 3 walks, no hits), and Grayson Smith (2 and 2/3, no runs, 6 SOs, 1 hit, 2 walks). A&M relied on Aschenbeck (4 innings, no runs, 4 hits, 6 SOs, 1 walk) and Stewart (1 inning, 1 hit, no runs, 3 SOs).

Game 3 looked more like baseball with both starters going about 5 innings, giving up 2 runs, and the Gators got the win by holding them to no runs the rest of the way while scoring 2 off of their relievers, 1 off of Stewart and Sdao.

So this game looks like both teams are hoping for some runs early and hope to hold the lead with their relievers. The key should be who has the lead after 5 and if the relievers do their job. Kind of sounds like baseball to me.

Im sure LSU must hold this record because there’s no Uni in Key West and WingTee doesnt go every year.

 

The Evan is no longer used according to some minutes I found from the committee.

 

NC and VA tied at 1 after 3.

 

Still 1-1 after 5. Virginia with men on second and third with no outs in the top of the 6th.

 

I figured with all the crazy scores we saw in the regionals and supers, Omaha would be a bunch of 2-1, 3-2 games, lol.

I have in on authority that @wingtee is not an epic drinker. Now I have seen @WESGATORS in action and that is a whole different story but he went to Stillwater and Clemson and can't make the CWS.

They are actually pitching to Honeycutt in this situation. Crazy!
